"Ordered from Wrench Monkey, waited, waited, waited. After three weeks i contacted them, they lied and said they left a voicemail saying they didn't have items "in stock" as ordered. BUT they did not phone or leave a voicemail. I contacted my cell provider and no record of call. They told me later by email they didn't have parts and these parts would be special order and take additional 3-4 weeks!! After I already waited 3 weeks!!! BRUTAL.
I ordered from these guys before with no problems but that'll be it for them with my money....Plenty of ReSellers online who can design a website!

"I have ordered many parts for different vehicles that I own and have always gotten good pricing and fast delivery. Last year ordered radiator for my 1991 Cadillac ,had wrong discharge port they sent me proper one no charge on return or new rad shipping. I have no hesitation in doing business with wrench monkey in the future.

"I saw a lot of bad reviews after ordering a total of +-500$ break parts so I was a bit concerned. Then they called me telling me that they did not have the loaded calipers I ordered but they could sell me the shoes apart and make me a better price. 3 Days later I got the 70 dollars balance payed back unto my credit card. The parts arrived on the estimated day, nicely packed (over 50 pounds of stuff) and seem to be good parts, we will find out once installed.
I figure the bulk of the bad reviews are coming from delivery problems, specially if you need your parts fast and end up paying a lot for delivery, not sure if this is your best option, but as for me I could easily wait the 1.5 weeks for the free delivery and had no problem. "
"I ordered a "rebuilt" power window motor and paid extra to have it shipped faster.
The item was not even shipped until the day it was supposed to arrive so it arrived late.
I complained and was offered free shipping on the core in exchange.
When I took the motor apart it was very obviously NOT rebuilt. They agreed to exchange it with another one.
I completed the repair when the new one arrived and sent core back.
They received the core May 23rd and still had not refunded the core amount as of June 4th so I emailed them.
They thanked me for reminding them and then refunded the core amount less shipping, despite offering the core shipping in exchange for their shipping error.
I originally ordered the part on April 23rd. It is now June 7th and I still haven't finished the process.

"The order I purchased clearly stated in the item description , as well as the pictures, that the parts were made in japan.Upon receiving the order only 1 part was made in japan,the rest where made in china,mexico and malaysia. They actually gave me one tie rod end made in japan and the other side made in china.

"I ordered a couple of lift supports for a tailgate and added to the order some small parts (totaling $17.35) to get the order over $75 so as to qualify for free shipping. The next day I received a message to call them. They informed me that, despite what it said on the website, they did not have those small parts. I said, 'ok', and suggested some other small parts. "Oh, we already cancelled your order", was the reply. Well, can we reinstate it? "Unfortunately, we had the wrong price on those trunk supports. (They were now $10 more each). If you want them, you will have to order them again at the higher price". Draw your own conclusions. I ordered them elsewhere."
"This company's takes your money and doesn't make any effort to keep you informed, they'll send you fake shipping #'s so you think it's on the way,but it's not even shipped yet. Why do they do this, if I knew they needed two weeks to fill my order l would have ORDERED From SOMEONE ELSE. "I received a damaged CV axle from shipping so called the support line. They had a replacement sent immediately and I received it in perfect condition. Great prices and service so I'm not sure about the low reviews, these guys are great and will order from them again."
"This is the second order where I learned that a part I ordered was out of stock, but ONLY because I contacted them. There is no option on their website for customers to check the order status or track shipping. I replied to their email and asked about the alternative part they had suggested. No answer for days, so I called. I was told that I could have the other part for 20 bucks extra, so I told them about their failure to contact me about the part being out of stock. I could have received it by now, so they finally agreed to knock off the 20 bucks extra and told me it would arrive within 3-5 business days and it actually did come on time, so thumbs up for that. However, one of the struts I had ordered had broken through the box, but other than the carton, nothing was damaged.
The last order had to be cancelled because the part was out of stock. A week later someone called me and asked me if I still wanted the alternative part they had suggested, so I had to tell them that the order had been cancelled a week ago. Pretty embarrassing...
I only ordered from them because they have good prices and free shipping above a certain amount. They need to improve their website and follow up with people's orders to keep up with the competition."
"I placed an order on Tuesday April 26 in the afternoon and despite several (3 unanswerered) emails sent on Wednesday April 27, 2016 and messages left by phone Thursday April 28, 2018 this order was not shipped until the end of the Thursday April 28, 2016. I was assured on April 26 that my order was going to sent that day. Now this item is not going to get to my place in time for the repair. I am less than happy. "I ordered Dorman part# 611196 which is a 10 piece package of wheels nuts. I selected a quantity of 4 (4 bags of 10 nuts) which would give me 40 wheel nuts. I completed the order with Paypal and received a call from Wrench Monkey 2 days later saying that I had to order at least 10 and it would cost another $17. She said the price on the website was per nut, it does not specify that on the website. The description says "10pc Wheel Nut" and it doesn't say each anywhere. If you went to the grocery store to buy a dozen eggs and the cashier told you the price on the shelf was each, even though it said per dozen on the shelf, would you shop there again?
So basically they are not going to honour the order I placed even though it was a mistake on their behalf. They offered a full refund, but that is not good enough. I want the parts that I ordered for the agreed price that I paid. I will not be using this website again. "
"Feb/16 - I ordered suspension parts from The Wrench Monkey on-line for a '99 Toyota product on a Thursday, then found this review site. I was scared by all the neagtive comments and tempted to cancel if possible, but decided to monitor carefully. e-mail next day said Canada Post was handling the shipment. e-mail on Saturday confirmed goods were shipped the day after order had been placed, and would be delivered by next Wednesday. Items were delivered as predicted and installed by my mechanic the next day. So, goods as described were delivered and installed and working just fine one week after order placement. Their price was less than a large American on-line part source I have dealt with, and parts were delivered to my door faster than USA company could do it. Very satisfied."
