"For the most part parts arrived in a timely fashion. Some took a few days and others have taken a month to show up. With one missing part we had to scan the invoice sent with the most recent package to prove that they had not sent the belt tensioner as they thought they had. They also waited until we called about the next shipment of parts to inform us that the piston rings and pushrods were unavailable leaving me running around trying to find a set so I could even assemble the engine...
The bigger issue is they had mentioned the clutch and flywheel were on back order and would be in around August 10th. We were not informed until a few days ago that they have been unable to even get in contact with AMS, the supplier for the parts. There was a lot of opportunity to inform us of the status through the many e-mails and phone calls my wife placed during the period. I have finally been given a date of August 21st but because they waited to inform me (we had to call them yet again asking if we could get another brand) I am stuck with only that option. Their site showed the part in stock which was a lie which has now led to my vehicle sitting with no engine in it because there is no clutch and flywheel. It has thrown the repair schedule off and is going to cost me more for my validation sticker since the vehicle won't be ready by the time they increase the price.
After spending around $2100 with them you would think their customer service might put in some effort but you are on your own to try to contact them and expect ignored messages and no offers of compensation after dealing with poor customer service.
Their parts listings are a mess and very sparsely populated so you are stuck doing the legwork on better put together sites like rockauto. At this point I'd rather pay more than deal with this again."

"Ordered brake calipers a month ago and nothing has arrived.
Two weeks after my order i asked for shipping or tracking information. No reply. I don`t know how these guys plan expect to run a business with non existant customer service.
Its been another 2 weeks and now I'm going to go to my bank and cancel the order for non delivery.
Another thing that kind of annoyed me was that a core charge was applied to my order. While viewing the item on their site there was no mention of a core charge."
"Worst online tranaction to date. I ordered a Timken hub on 4/19/2104. I waited untill 5/6/2014 to follow up on the order. when I called they said they would look into it and call back the same day. They never called back, so I called the next day I was told the part was not availble. I was told I would be credited and I was minus 3% of the part price. The 3% is a foreign transaction fee even though they have an American flag on the web page. They do not mention this anywhere on the website. It is obvious that they knew the part was unavailble. If I did not contact them, who knows how long it would have been before a credit was issued. I do not reccomend buying any thing from this company."
"Ordered brake parts from Wrench Monkey on April 13, 2014 and paid via Paypal. They did not ship the parts and I never received an order acknowledgement. I called them half a dozen times and sent them 3 or 4 emails and they never responded to any of them. I filed a dispute with Paypal and have now escalated it to a refund claim. Do not order parts from this company."

I've tried calling just a waste of time, I payed by PayPal so I'm going to file for a refund I'll see how that goes. "I called The Wrench Monkey and ordered a Timken JXC25469C bearing, but they sent me a Timken JXC25743C. These two bearings are entirely different. When I informed them about the problem, they put the blame on me. It was a real struggle to get them to accept the fact that it was their mistake. Mistakes do happen, that is the human condition. Problems ought to be handled with courtesy though; not be let's stick it on the customer to save face. If you have to deal with them, I strongly suggest having them repeat the entire order if you do not want to have to pay for parts you cannot use, or engage into a battle to voice your rights."

"I was really impressed at how fast I received my purchase . Great products . My only complaint is that I was charged in US funds due to a glitch on the website . I have called 3 times about getting a refund for the 11 dollars I was over charged . I also sent proof of the charges and was told my money would be refunded right away . It has now been over a week and I am still waiting for manager to call me back and haven't gotten a refund for their error .
