"I was supposed to get 4 free CDs to try out, with me paying for just shipping & handling. However, I just saw in my checking account (paid with Debit card) that they charged me $49.90!!!

Now I have to go through the troubles of disputing these charges?!?!

I have fought tougher battles if they think they can get me to rollover and pay this without noticing it.

"Offer: Open Office 2002 + 3 other outdated discs for 1.96. In very fine print, If 2 are not returned a 50.00 charge applies. Did not read the package to see return date because I thought that it was paid for and done. The initial offer does not state that any of them have to be returned, it is written in the fine print of the agreement. I did not know that there was an additional charge until it appeared on my credit card bill. I offered to send the discs back, but, of course, the return time limit had expired. Legal but immoral, who would willingly pay 52.00 for four outdated discs. Bottom line: Don't take anything at face value with this company. I would never do business with them again. They offered me 2 free discs for my trouble, but I would not take anything from such a deceitful company. My only recourse was to find a place to write a bad review and let others know that Think all publishing is an underhanded company."

"I came across a website which offered 4 "free" software CD's from Think All Publishing . It was indicated that a $2.97 S & H fee would be charged. There were two discs in which I was interested but I was required to order 4, couldn't just request 2. When I received the packet of 4 discs, information on the disc cover "thanked" me for my "subscription" and that additional discs would be mailed each month! Apparently by requesting the four free CD's I had agreed to subscribe to future ones! Further it stated that I had 10 days to preview all four discs. If I decided to keep all four beyond the 10 days then two of the discs would be considered "free" and I would be charged $24.95 each for the other two ($49.90 total in addition to the $2.96 S & H fee). The website had made no mention of either agreeing to a subscription nor the $24.95/disc charge. Oddly enough I am now unable to locate the original website with the original offer of 4 FREE DISCS! It is not associated with the company website Thinkall.com. The four discs I received were possibly worth a $2.95 "shipping/handling" fee but no stretch of the imagination would even value all four at $24.94, let alone per disc! Two of my requests, OpenOffice and Gimp Photo & Image Studio are both open source items and available free for download over the internet. The other two items I "had" to pick to fill the order, 4500 Greatest Photos and Internet Communication Suite were both useless. In addition, apparently my package was originally delivered to the wrong address and I did not actually receive it myself until about 3 weeks later - well after the "10 day review period" (which was never mentioned at the website) had expired. When I called, the company respresentative said they would have to assume delivery had been made correctly at the date indicated by the "Delivery Confirmation" number and the $49.90 charge would stand. I am disputing this with my bank. I have subscribed to many different music clubs and book clubs at different times in the past and they have ALWAYS been very specific about 1)what was "free" 2)any other fees/charges (i.e. S & H ) to be applied 3)any future purchases I was required to make to complete the subscription offer and receive the free items. Think All went out of its way to hide all of this information. Virtually ALL of the software offered at their site is available free as a download over the internet or can be purchased at Wal Mart or a computer store for a few dollars. "
