"Got my tickets so much easier and cheaper this way. Will do it every time "
"Tickets-Center positioned their site in a manner that led me to believe they were the authorized ticket sellers for the Bergen Performing Arts Center. I was buying tickets as a gift for friends and afterwards realized that Tickets-Center was not the authorized seller/reseller for Bergen PAC, but instead it was Ticketmaster.
The tickets I purchased from Ticket-Center were approximately double the price of tickets available in Ticketmaster and Ticket-Center's service fees were exorbitant as well.
Had I done more homework I would have realized that Ticket-Center was not the authorized Bergen PAC seller and also would have realized that the show was not nearly sold out, but in my haste to secure decent tickets, I pulled the trigger too quickly. My bad (no sympathy deserved or expected!!! "
"This 3rd party ticket agency is a rip off! Charged us $507 for (3) $59.00 tickets, plus $144.00 service charge! They do not do cancellations or refunds, and told us we had to have proof of COVID vaccinations in order to go to the venue, which the theater said was not true at all.
Ticket Subtotal - $507.00
Delivery Fee - $6.95
Service Charge - $144.00
Sales Tax - $0.00
Order Total - $657.95

"They took my money and didn’t send tickets. I called/emailed until an hour before the event. When I still didn’t have them they wouldn’t give me my money back.
I will be filing with bbb and my cc company as a scam. "
"They charge DOUBLE what more reputable sites charge, with no recourse for the buyer/sucker.
Zero customer service, zero refunds even weeks before the event or minutes after purchasing, zero replies from any and all contact attempts. I just wish i could leave a zero star rating."
"The were first to come up for Mayo Performing Arts center web search... After navigating the ticket options, I click the wrong button the next thing i know is i have been charged with the ticket purchase. I immediately tried to reach someone but email is address is "unmonitored". Finally was able to text a number the next day to inform them of the mistake and cancel. I was dismissed as that it was a done deal and no refund policy. Reached my credit card company to dispute and its not going well. BUYER BEWARE....this website/.company ticket-center.com is GROSSLY OVER CHARGING and is a big RIPOFF! The many reviews before mine will confirm that. "
"I purchased tickets for an event, thinking this was the only place I could buy the tickets. I paid over $109 for a ticket that I found sold for $20 at the event center. Watch out for them. Plus you get no refunds do your homework before you buy from this company."
"A business model that depends on deception. If you knew who you were dealing with, you would never purchase anything from this site."
"They jacked up the prices 5 times the regular price while many were still available from the actual box office of the event. They don’t allow for any kind of refund once you’ve found out you’ve been taken. Guess it’s my fault for being so naive in trusting a link to buying tickets, but I’ll never use this service again!"
"I bought the tickets not realising unable to get a refund due to personsal reasons the event is not until next march and it’s only December now Do not buy or use this company "
"Over paid thousands of dollars for a fight that never happend. Here i type 8months later still no fight and no refund. Ticket Center should be renamed to Scam Ticket Center. "
"the representative who helped me was excellent"
"If I could give a -10 star review, I would. Please see my response to BBB as my review of my experience. I am still working on getting a refund.
Dear Better Business Bureau,
When I was looking for Cirque du Soleil tickets, I went to the official Cirque du Solei website. I did not choose or have ever heard of ticket-center. I was directed or linked directly to a website displaying date and time options for the tickets I purchased. The presentation was NOT a scalper sounding website. Little did I know the name was deceptive. I did not know nor clearly see stated anywhere that I was purchasing tickets from someone or that these were secondhand tickets.
The idea that “we are scalping secondhand tickets” was buried somewhere in fine print is fraud and deception. Starting with the website name, I would flag this business as deceptive misinformation with fraudulent intent. They are called Tickets Center, not tickets marketplace or secondhand ticket’s or buy and sell tickets or ScalpersRus. Their name is deceptive. I had no idea I was buying from scalpers. I do not buy from scalpers in real-life nor would I have bought it online. Had I known, I would have made the educated decision to purchase elsewhere.
I demand a refund. If I could suggest a rebranding for the business, it would be: Scalpers Market for Tickets. When I called minutes after my purchase, to my shock and amazement they basically suggested I become a scalper myself! As I reflect on this disastrous experience their fraudulent intent is cemented with the simple fact that they suggested I scalp the tickets they just scalped me but did not offer their services as clear scalpers to scalp my newly acquired tickets. Did I mention we are dealing not just with scalpers, but with scalpers exhibiting clear fraudulent intent?
Thank you for your help and creating an ethical marketplace for buyers and sellers alike.
Sincerely,
Defrauded consumer"
"They sold me the tickets through Ticket-Fulfillment Services LP a SCAM see information in BBB and Fraud Credit Cards. To complete, they never sent the tickets, just an image that seemed like a complete fraud. The image said that the ticket cost $75.20 (two tickets) and $617.50 was debited from my account"
"I received an email from this seller in late August, early September advertising the fact that Patti Smith would be appearing in my hometown. I jumped on the opportunity to buy two tickets to see her, assuming (correctly) that the event would be sold out. The tickets were a higher price than I would have normally expected, since Smith tries to keep her appearances affordable. However, the ad stated that proceeds would go to a local literacy campaign, so I thought the price was legitimate. For two tickets, loge section of the theater I paid close to 150. per ticket. I was then out of the country for a month. When I returned, I found myself unable to attend the event. I tried to sell the tickets with no luck. I then contacted the venue box office for help. This was when I discovered that this seller had scammed me. The cost of my tickets should have been 59. Not 150.! The box office also determined that these same seats had been sold several times. I highly recommend that all buyers stay away from this seller. Greedy and unethical. "
