"I saw the XFX GeForce 6600GT AGP from TD when I saw they had it in stock in Canada when it just came out. Excited, I ordered it right away and found the price to be quite good. The product page states that the item will ship within 24 hrs.
On the next business day, I received an email from them saying the transaction did not go through with my credit card. So I called up my bank, they said it got through.. called back TD, they said call back later, their "Credit Department" isn't open. Fine, so I called them up at work next day on my cell phone. They say they sent the wrong email, the product is on hold because I'm sending it to my work address. So, fine, I told them to send it, it's fine, *I* ordered it. They refused, saying you have to call from home on their "business hours" ... I work in "business hours", who doesn't? I got upset, wanted to cancel the order. Then they convinced me to have it shipped to my previous order's address, (also a work address). They end up sending it to my home anyways, so I had to went through the trouble of dealing with UPS for 2 days.
So I ended up waiting more than a week for a brand new HOT item that loses its value every moment you wait. I am not impressed."

This isn't the 1st time I bought from them, they were good for a short while, they do not value long term customers. I bought 2 item which 1 of them as a ULTRA USB MP3 player (256 meg), when I bought it online on December 4th, 2004, the availability was "in stock" now monday the 6th, they said it was BACKORDERED TILL FEBRUARY 28th, please tell me how am I going to get a christmas gift at that time?????
Complaint 2: The item also came with at 30$ mail in rebate, which is absurd because the COUPON EXPIRES THE 24th of DECEMBER!!! HOW AM I GOING TO GET A UPC FOR AN ITEM THAT I DON'T HAVE???
Finally, after they knew about this problem they promptly made the item disappear off their webpage, so for those who don't have the coupons , which there are 94 NINETY FOUR(according to their technical support) other people. Will never see their money.

"1) The customer service is REALLY REALLY BAD. They just kicked me from one representative to another. And then ended up with a voice recorder.
2) Tigerdirect promised me to refund the shipping fee for a return product. But I never received it. And it's been 3 months now! Called 3 times, everytime they said it will be mailed out soon. But they just didn't do what they said!
3) I received a incompleted package (a cable is missing). They let me to find the manufactory! Because they "ship what manufactory gave them" !!!"

"On April 27, 2004. My son ordered a computer throgh the internet. When the invoice came up the amount was more than the advertised price. My son immediately called them and told them he wanted the order cancelled as he was being billed for a different price. Tiger Direct told him that they were unable to cancel the order (imagine that). They told him that once he received the computer and components, he should return it by standard UPS and they will credit him (my credit card) the amount debited. They will also refund the shipping charges. Here are the exact words from their email:

We received the items in May and shipped it back to them with the invoice for the shipping charges which amounted to CA$56.71. To date we have not received the shipping charges. I should have called my credit card company and cancell the order from the start and then wait for TigerDirect to transfer the shipping amount before we ship back. Why can't we cancel an order if the advertised price and the invoice price is different? Can anyone tell me how I can escalate this further by complaining to some government authorities in the U.S. about this kind of practices.

"- I was billed for my full order, yet I'm missing some items.
- I've been waiting over 30 minutes on hold to get to a real person to ask about my missing items.
- Website states that a tracking number is emailed to buyer once shipped, but this didn't happen.
Previously the did not pack an order properly and items were damaged during shipping. I had to make multiple calls to get them to accept a return. They then refused to credit the return shipping charges although they agreed to pay for return shipping since it was their fault that the item was damaged.

Finally spoke to someone at Tiger and explained the situation. Recieved the missing parts today.
It's pretty backwards though. They bill you for the replacement parts, then issue you a credit.
Now I'm waiting to see if they actually come through with the credit.

"I ordered a Chieftech case and a few other things. The order came. I found that I only got 3 sets of rail kits instead of 4 sets as said. The latch of the front swing out cover of the front bezel of the case was broken. I emailed them hoping that they would send me the missing rail kit and the swing out portion of the front bezel. They were not interested in righting the wrong; but, they were quick to offer to charge my credit card again for replacement part; otherwise, they were not prepared to do anything. They didn't even offer to send me back the missing rail kit. Stay away from this outfit. They're only interested in your purchase. After that, it is their way or the highway. Save yourself the time and aggrevation by shopping elsewhere. I know I will now."
