"I called Tiger GPS direct and asked if the items I wanted were in stock, which they were. They promised me that they would have the items with me by the following day. The price was the best I could find by a big margin, which always makes me a little suspect, but I thought that I can always block the payment on the Credit card. NO NEED. The items came well packaged and delivered by DHL on time with full tracking. To sum up, I got what I asked for when I asked for it. No catch, no hard sell just great service and even better prices. Thanks guys I shall be back !!"
"I placed an order for 3 Tomtom GO GPS units at 9:30 am on December 20. These were supposed to be x-mas gifts so I made double-checked the web site to make sure these products were in stock. The company also advertised same day shipping and I ended up getting next day shipping to ensure timely delivery. When the order didn't ship the 20th, I contacted the company on the 21st. and they stated the order would ship on Thursday and I would get it on Friday. On Wed. night morning I received a message saying that the units were stuck at customs in Boston but there was still a possibility that I would receive them in time. Unfortunately, Friday passed without a delivery and I was stuck without x-mas gifts.
The problem with all this is that they stated that the units were "in stock." Having a shipment coming from the UK as they stated in their e-mail to me sometime during the week does not mean having a product in stock. The fact that they did not let me know that these units were not in stock and causing me to end up without x-mas gifts because of it makes me a highly dissatisfied customer.
Needless to say I cancelled my order on Monday Dec. 27 at which point I had heard nothing from TipgerGPS at all regarding my order. I would highly recommend reconsidering your purchase before doing any business with this company. The ironic part about all this is that they advertise "5 Star Service" on their web site when my experience was more close to "1 star service."

"A good purchasing experience for a handheld GPS; they claimed they would price match lower prices, I submitted the URL for a vendor offering a lower price and they did indeed beat the price (by $0.95 but hey they did beat it). Took a day to get this response, not lightning fast but not bad either. They shipped in about 24 hours from my on-line purchase via DHL overnight, and it did arrive overnight. Unfortunately DHL waited two days to notify me of its arrival, not TigerGPS's fault but it was pretty sloppy of DHL. All in all, all is well."

"I was searching for the best price on a Meridian Color GPS unit and this company stated they matched prices. I let them know that some other findings were cheaper and included shipping. I attached the competitor's ad in my email to them and within 24hrs, i received a response in which i would be given the same exact price. I spoke to "Derek" and the unit was shipped that day and arrived undamaged. I received an invoice via email and was very happy with the service of the company.
The only drawback was only this one individual could match the price so you had to speak with Derek directly.
This is a good company to deal with and an authorized Meridian dealer so the warranty applies from the date i purchased it from Tiger.
