"The process of buying new tires from Tire Rack could not be any easier or better. Finding the right tire is easy with Tire Racks online resources, and it is great to have access to not only professional reviews, but reviews by other customers. Since I prefer to support local stores, I checked with them first but their prices were $100 higher per tire and they did not offer a road hazard warranty (at any price, let alone the free warranty provided by Tire Rack). Tire Rack shipped the tires to the very same local vendor who then got the business of installing the tires, balancing the wheels and aligning the car. At the end of the day, I saved money, received a road hazard warranty and supported by local business. A win/win as far as I am concerned. "

This is the 2nd time I have ordered these Nokian Encompass AW01 from Tire Rack. I ordered them a year ago for my Kia Forte 2010. I was so surprised to find a snow tire with Tire Rack's winter rating that also had a tread wear warranty. They navigated the back roads Southeast of Buffalo, NY throughout last winter. I remember when they faced their greatest test as I left an Amish farm, uphill, through some thick, unplowed snow. These tires quickly clawed their way through! I have left the tires on through the summer and they still have plenty of life left for another winter and hopefully a spring and summer!
Thank you, Tire Rack, for carrying these aggressive snow tires that somehow don't whine or create the road tone that I usually get with snow tires. Exceptional tires! Great price , especially when you consider that shipping is free!
I recently got a leaking tire from an embedded shank of a bolt. I will test out the free road hazard warranty and see how that is handled! Oh, one more thing: I really appreciate the independent testing and rating that you folks do! It's very helpful! That's how I found these Nokians."
