Would give a zero star but not an option. Rude customer service

"Rude customer service. Extremely slow shipping with the excuse is because of Covid. Will cancel your order after waiting and waiting for it to be shipped and calling customer service over your concerns. I suggest that you choose a different tobacco retailer to purchase your tobacco needs as tobacco general is not the only one out there. Buy from this company at your on risk. Check out the reviews, they have a one star rating."

Quality is terrible!

"Great price, timely shipment, TERRIBLE quality!

I ordered a box of 25 (which was wrapped) and each cigar was individually wrapped. As soon as I removed the wrapper off the cigar the outer leaves disintegrated. They were cracked and pealing, and flaking apart. They are dry as a bone! They were not stored well, or maybe they were months or even years old.

They don't answer the phone, so I emailed them. They said to return them but, "If we find they are not stale (to the extent that the product can be called stale), we will not be able to reimburse you for a box of cigars, nor replaced with something else. Also, we will not be able to issue a refund for the cigars from another batch."

I put in a order

"I put in a order the first week of September I received an e mail letting me know that my order
was delivered on the 9th i never received my order so i sent them a message and when they got back to me they more or less called me a liar. They stated that my order was placed by my door way and that a neighbor signed for it that is not true at all. I live in a apartment complex there are over 50 people that live in this complex and there are people moving in and out of here all the time so with that said if in fact some one did sign for my package they never told me about it do to they more than likely don't know who i am so it makes no since to me why would a person sign for a package for a person that they have no idea who the person is. I never received any proof. I have found a lot of complaints about this company not sending out there orders. I should have check out this company before i trusted them. I will seek out other web sites that have complaints about this company and add my own complaint.

Great tobacco vendor

"I was a little bit concerned about the bad reviews on this page, but I ordered anyway out of necessity. Ordered on Sunday shipped on Tuesday delivered on Saturday by US Postal Service. Prices are very cheap compared to other online stores. Products fresh and exactly as I ordered. I will be ordering again. I highly recommend this company."

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!

"Ordered pipe tobacco......shipping was almost as much as the product. 2 days after ordering, there was a shipping label created. 10 days later, still only showed shipping label created, so I acalled to cancel. They refused to cancel. Received the product 3 days after the Post Office received it......which was 13 days after I placed the order. They sent me a return shipping label, but as of 30 days of product being shipped back (shipped same day as received), I have yet to receive a credit to my PayPal account. Biggest ripoff. Do not order from them.......poor customer service. Ordered from another supplier, and received the product in 3 days. Tobacco General is nothing but a scam, or the owner is the laziest worker ever."

Miserable Tabacco General Customer Service

"Ordered $127 worth of products on 12/21/20 with the understanding I would receive the products within 5-8 business days. After 8 days, I tried to contact Tabacco General, but only got an answering machine. My only option would be to play email tag-team with their sales department. I then traced the items through Sonic and called them. The Sonic representative told me I am scheduled to receive the items by 01/21/21 (according to their database with Tabacco Genral), which is 30 days after the order was placed! The Tabacco General website and order SPECIFICALLY STATED: 5-8 business days - NOT 30 days. The Tabacco General company failed to inform me of any delays or extended timelines of receiving the products to-date. Sadly, I didn't do any research on Tabacco General till after placing my order and the lack of customer service track-record online is significant... If I would have known or taken the time to read the horrific reviews on the Tabacco General company, I certainly would NOT have ordered anything from them... Lessons learnt - READ company reviews before buying items on-line!"

"Tobacco store in the area don't sell things that I've gotten used to over the years. Just checking on line on tobacco products, found tobacco general with good prices and easy to order. At Tobacco General I can get bulk tobacco as well. Since I'm disabled it makes things much simpler to just have my items show up at my door. Thank you."

Stay Away From Tobacco General...

"I placed my order with Tobacco General on April 17, 2020 - mainly because they take PayPal & I was too lazy to go upstairs for my wallet. I received an email on 4/19/2020 informing me the shipping label had been created. I expected to see a shipped notice on the 20th or 21st, but none came. I wrote asking about the order & received a autoreply about delayed shipping through USPS - which I know is not a thing because I am selling through eBay & all my shipments have flowed through their system with constant tracking updates. I then received an email from someone at the company who said the package had been shipped & USPS wasn't scanning as regularly due to the pandemic - again I was shipping out & know that was BS. Then on 4/25 I got the acceptance notice from USPS & the package sailed cross country from them to me in 3 day... just like the stuff I had sold to people on eBay. Obviously, they don't give a crap about customer service..."

In the past Tobacco General has been slow, but this beats all!

"Tobacco General has taken 10 to 12 days to ship my order in the past. They have NO customer service but they are cheaper than most. Now I've ordered and NOT received my order. They have an auto-response when I sent them an email requesting info, and again now requesting a refund. Nothing, I cannot contact them at all. They certainly did take my money on 3-20-20 when I ordered. Now it's 4-18-20 and my order status still shows as "New". Not shipped.
They steal your money and do not ship your order. They do not answer their phone nor email.
DO NOT Shop Tobacco General!!!!!!

If I could give 1/2 star or a ZERO, I WOULD

"Worst online tobacco store EVER! it's been over 10 days and my order hasn't even shipped... With the fee of $10.99 for 3-5 business days. Customer support won't take my calls. And I don't even have a tracking number! UNBELIEVABLE! And when I took their survey, pretty much giving them a review much like this one, they've BLOCKED ME FROM ACCESSING THEIR SITE from my phone, or via my account password. And...yeah it doesn't end here... I HAD TO CALL MY BANK and have them dispute the charge for PRODUCTS I NEVER RECEIVED. Also had to get a different debit card so this shady outfit doesn't FLEECE ME DRY! Word of advise... Avoid this place like the plague or THE CORONAVIRUS!!!"

"Just received my delivery order 12/5/19! Las Vegas. & an email letter from GSO / GLS Said del. Expected 12/5/19 (YEST.). I Suspect Problems with TG CO., AND Delivery agent GSO. & Computer Systems. My order promised 5 business days. It's now 8 Biz. DAYS. VERY BIZARRE. "
