"Ordered a PCI modem from this store. Order was not processed for four days. Emailed them about it, they replied that their office was closed due to snow. That's ok, no big deal. Got the modem today (17-Dec). They said on Pricewatch that shipping was free. At the checkout screen, I was told that UPS charges an extra $3.00 to ship to a residential area. I've heard of that before, so no big deal. I paid the extra $3.00. Only when I got the modem, it arrived via U.S. mail, *NOT* UPS. The postage on it was only $1.98. I know it's only $1.02, but it's the principle that I got cheated when I should have received "free shipping." It was a good deal, but I probably won't buy from them again because of their deceptive shipping practice.

"At this point in time I am neutral about this company until I see how they resolve my problem. I received my pkg. today from them, I ordered a Lite-On keyboard and a Lite-On mouse I have a detailed receipt for them. The keyboard was great, just what was pictured on their site and what I expected to receive. The mouse on the other hand was in a beat up box and was not anything like what I had ordered and was pictured on their site nor do I even see the mouse they sent me as being available from them. I noticed that the night of the same day that I ordered the mouse that they changed their website and their ad on pricewatch to reflect a different price than what I had. I also read their RMA and it seems that I am going to be charged all kinds of fees and since I have opened the box I'm stuck with it according to them, and I have to pay for sending the item back to them for a mistake or was it a mistake, that they made. Now, it seems to me that a company that has a high rating here and a 5 star yahoo rating would want to keep it so we will see just how good they are. I will edit this post or repost when I find out how they handle this.

They called me at home the evening of the same day I requested an RMA and let them know about the problem. They did give me an RMA. They did state there would be no restocking or other fees.

Said it was their mistake, BUT DID NOT offer to send the mouse that I had ordered and paid for.
Said that they needed to change the picture, that's fine but not after I ordered the mouse based on the picture and description and price on their site.
At first tried to give me a load of horse hockey that the mouse was an OEM and therefore not labeled like my keyboard was, I said no way, it's not what was pictured on your site.
No offer to pay return shipping for what I consider a bait and switch.
Also on their Yahoo shopping site they have a picture of the mouse I am holding in my hand and they are trying to sell it as an optical mouse. This mouse isn't optical anything. Now, since I am going to have to foot the bill for THEIR mistake and it would cost me more to ship it than it's worth I guess I'm stuck with a cheap piece of plastic. I am changing my review to a negative one and I urge Resellerratings to check out these other "so satisfied" reviews for fraud.
BUYER BEWARE of bait and switch operations with this company. 8-4-04. I cleaned my Lite-On keyboard today and the label fell off. Under the Lite-On label was the word Compaq just as plain as day. These people took or made a Lite-On label put it over the Compaq name and sold it as a Lite-On keyboard, I have the invoice to prove it, it is listed as a Lite-On keyboard SK2850. I will be emailing Compaq and Lite-On, I'm sure they would be very interested in the misuse of their names and products. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE!"
