"My true review was quashed from the shopping site I bought this from, I bought a $599 Martin Djr000-10e guitar from this company and after having it for less than 2 days returned it as defective, I've been playing for 40+ years and if you buy a guitar and it needs more than minor adjustments out of the box it's not worth keeping this needed saddle, bridge, fret work, The seller tells me, because in the description of what was wrong besides the major issues, I'd said it's not up to my standards, That my standards are of no report and (there's nothing wrong with the guitar if I needed to hire a luthier then what's the problem) so their keeping the restocking fee which was taken from the total cost of the guitar not the selling price and (putting the guitar back on the shelf for someone who knows guitars to buy). So ok this can go one of two ways return the money and save face be honest or keep the money and have my bank forcefully take it back? they chose to fight my Bank. Good Luck with that. Rude and sarcastic is not the way to run a business. The only reason I chose this place over the others was because of their rating 99%. Oh I bought another Martin a 000jr-10 not from this house of bandits, No from their competitor with a lower rating and there is absolutely nothing wrong with this guitar that a MINOR adjustment won't cure no luthier needed."

"I'm sad to see the bad reviews for Total Music. They were EXCELLENT! Fabulous service. My daughter and I walked into their distribution center not realizing it wasn't a showroom. They stopped what they were doing to help us. Very knowledgeable about the guitars. Tuned and played a few cords with her and made sure she was 100% comfortable. They didn't try to up sell us and stayed within our budget. Great experience. I recommend them! Thanks Chris and Fred!"
"I ordered a harmonica from them and paid for shipping. They sent in a manilla envelope with no extra padding. The harmonicas box arrived damaged. When I contacted them they said too bad but they don't have extra boxes. When I said I would like to return it they said I would have to pay for shipping and a 10%restocking fee. They were rude and I would not recommend them!!! "

Went in to look at products and almost everything they said proved to be untrue, not a SINGLE person knew anything about ANY of the products there!! They were also very rude!
