"Ordered and paid for an expensive action figure for my son 10 days in advance of Christmas. This was his main gift and one he had specifically asked for.
Two days before Christmas, got an email that they were out of stock.

"My experience with this stumbled-upon seller was mostly positive.
The first and only order with them was for a hard-to-find item slowly fading from the shelves and stock. The few sellers I found prior to ToyTokyo had jacked up prices for a very similar item, but not the one I wanted. So a phone call to ToyTokyo put me in touch with a friendly customer service guy who informed me of the item's details: it was the one I wanted--with the correct features, and it was the lowest price available.
Placing the order was simple enough, but the lack of the S&H fee in the initial summary was not ideal. In retrospect, if they could integrate shipping details with their normal ordering process, that would do wonders in facilitating smart purchases. (Not knowing a final total is somewhat like being ganked, or just disconcerting--especially if you're not given any delivery options apart from the one the seller picks. But, at least they give you tracking info.)
Bottom line: Until there are more purchases made, it seems as though if ToyTokyo is a straightforward, reliable seller with a plethora of well-priced stuff."
"I had an extremely favorable experience with Toy Tokyo and wanted to share it. The products were delivered very promptly. And I received extremely nice customer service. I even received a phone call from one of the associates because I had a different shipping address than my billing address. I had done this on purpose, but the store cared enough to call me personally to make sure that's what I had wanted. I was very pleased with the service I received, would shop there again and recommend the store to friends and family.

"After the order confirmation email, I have never get any other email about my order status. After one week I ordered, I start to call the company. First time they told me one of the item I order is sold out, so I asked to cancel the order and asked for refund. The guy told me "OK".
Couple days later, because I never get my refund, I made another call. This time, I think it's different guy from last time, he told me everything I order is ready to ship at the next day, then I said ok, I will wait for my order.
But another 2 weeks past, I got nothing. Then I call the shop again. Now they told me the "Web Site Department" is moved to other location, so they ask me to call another number(***-***-****). But no one ever answer the number, and I have try the number for couple days.
