I'm not a mechanic and I thought the lid would be installed with new nuts and screws but no it had to screwed in with a special screwing device. "As far as processing and receiving the order, they did a fantastic job. However, I ran into a bit of an issue with my overall order(s). I was looking to purchase and install the Bed Extender PT329-34100 on my 2002 Tundra. The website said it fit (which it does) but before I pulled the trigger I read the installation instruction and they stated that I needed to purchase the PT329-34101 Brackets. So I punched the number in the search and it came up as NOT fitting my vehicle. Long story short, through info I was given by a Toyota dealer, I originally purchased only the Bed Extender and wouldn't you figure, it came with no brackets and therefore there was no way to install it on my truck. After careful consideration, but more because I had a nearly $200 item I couldn't use, I decided to roll the dice and spend a little more money on brackets that supposedly would not fit my vehicle. Just like the Bed Extender itself, they arrived quickly...and they absolutely DO fit on my 2002 Tundra. Not sure why the website states that it doesn't but they should correct that, even though there probably isn't a huge market for accessories for an 18 year old vehicle, it was a bit of a frustration that I hope they correct for the next guy. "
