"Ordered a book through another website that allowed 3rd party sellers, this ended up being one of the sites with the cheapest selling price. Ordered the book and within a week I received an email that my order was canceled (no reason). A week goes by I realized I have no received a refund or a notification of a refund to come, so I send an email and receive one back that they will process. A week later still no refund or notification of one to come. so I send another email and get one back that says check with your bank, which I had already been doing. So I decide to call, of course no refund had actually been processed. I have been told I may receive it in 3 business days (next week). They still did not provide a notification of a refund, aside from verbal, so I will be watching my bank account. Do not buy from this company, they do not practice good business. "
"Orders from Hong Kong was rejected, unless provision of credit credit photocopy was given. This violates personal information security as photocopy will disclose security code on credit card to their operations employee. Normally this information is input by customers on websites protected by SSL encryption and is fed to VISA / Mastercard etc.
Traderslibrary also demanded a written authorisation to debit from the credit card, with card signature. All this points to discrimination to certain countries, as no mention of this practice is stated on the web, and I am sure US citizens are not forced to provide so much credit data.
Will never shop with them again, due to feeling discriminated and prejudiced against. Prices are attractive, but not worth it, when customer service is so poor with obvious bias against foreigners."
"Excellent prices, service, and selection. This online vendor sells only stock, option, and futures related trading books, audio tapes and videos. They usually have the best prices anywhere, including Amazon. Most Traders Library books sell at a discount and many sell at 50% list price or less, far below Amazon prices. I made 2 separate orders on the same day from Traders Library and Amazon. Even though Traders Library stated certain books would ship within "3 to 7 business days", most of the Traders Library books arrived before Amazon's. If you can obtain a "bonus code", you may be able to get free shipping. Shipping costs are inexpensive even if you must pay. Traders Library "cost cutter" method ships in a large cardboard envelope with no insulation via USPS. Despite this, all books arrived undamaged.
Traders Library has an aggressive price strategy, apparently aimed at Amazon and others. Amazon used to have the best prices, no longer. Amazon does not offer package discounts and no price matching. Not only does Traders Library usually have deeply discounted books, but if their price drops below what you paid within 10 days of purchase, you can request a credit for the difference. They might even have an Amazon price comparison policy; please call them at ***-***-**** for details. For other book subjects, you might want to visit their sister site www.superbookdeals.com . Every time I browse Traders Library pages, I am tempted to buy something. Although I expect no problems, they have a reasonable 30 day return period. If any books arrive damaged, Traders Library will send another book at no extra cost when you RMA. If you wish to learn about trading and obtain books at a discount, I recommend you buy from Traders Library. Any future purchases from Traders Library will also be reviewed here. "
