"I attempted to place an order with Trading Post Supply last night. I selected my items, entered my credit card information and submitted my order. I went to bed believing the transaction was complete, and I would receive my items in short order.

The next morning, I received this reply:

If you feel you have entered your information correctly you should contact your bank to ensure that they are reporting your information correctly.

2. Incorrect name, incomplete name or incorrect spelling of name
3. Incorrect billing address
4. Incorrect billing zip code
5. Incorrect security code
6. Incorrect or missing Phone Number
7. Card has been flagged for possible fraud by issuing bank
8. Reported as a stolen card
9. International or Gift Card that is not supported by the Address Verification System.

I apologize for the inconvenience but credit card security is taken very seriously at the Trading Post Supply. These measures protect you and me.

Rather than contacting me to remedy the situation, my order was considered fraud and canceled out of hand. When I asked Robert to call me to find out where the error was, I was told by Robert that there was an error in my credit card information, and they have a zero tolerance policy on incorrect credit card information, as they have been burned in the past. When I told him I didn't appreciate that he assumed I was trying to steal from him, he said he was sorry if his security measures offended me, but that him not accepting my order was not a reflection on me. He went on to tell me that my billing address of more than 3 years isn't actually my billing address, and that anyone accepting an order from me was crooked for doing so.

Had Robert contacted me up front and attempted to remedy the situation, rather than simply assume I am a thief and a liar, we might have been able to work something out. I would never do business with this guy again. There is a reason small businesses succeed or fail, and with service like this, I don't see him surviving too long."

"I shopped extensively online for best prices on shooting accessories (handgun magazines, grip extensions, etc.). TradingPostSupply.com had the best prices I could find, plus availability of everything I wanted - in stock. They also had very fair S/H charges (just $12.59 on an order for more than $500).

The order was shipped immediately and arrived in perfect condition within three business days - all new factory sealed merchandise.

(Note: Do _not_ confuse TPS with TPS ANNEX - evidently an experiment by same owner in a "Free Shipping" variant with same stock. But it appears that, when ordering from that branch of the business, one pays full MSRP to obtain such 'free' S/H [my $531 order would have cost almost $200 more], so the only way TPS Annex makes sense is if you're ordering just one or two items... Stick with TradingPostSupply.com, and I believe you will be well-pleased: I definitely was."
