"A BIG ZERO! I rented a phone for the Dominican Republic. Upon arrival at my room in this massive resort I found my bed crawling with bed bugs between the sheets. It was 8 pm and no one was answering the front desk or customer service phones in the resort. I tried to call using the TravelCell phone following their instructions and got the message "this phone is only for emergency calls" and was disconnected. They take no responsibility for whether or not their service works. This service is useless, and now, 13 weeks after my return, I've just gotten their $43 bill for their useless phone. RENT FROM ANOTHER VENDOR."

"SCAM!, SCAM!;;; stay away...
They overcharged us by a few hundred dollars for an unlimited plan.
You should wonder why they do not charge your credit card as soon as you make the purchase instead of weeks afterwards.
Unlimited does not mean unlimited; they charge your card more than agreed upon without notice.

Additionally; the mifi cards that they rent; are RESTRICTED and do not allow STREAMING media.

This is not the place to rent from.

"i have been using travelcell for many years. They provide a very useful service for anyone travelling abroad. The cellphone rental is an ecenomical alternative to roaming with your own cellphone. They also rent blackberry's and mifi devices. I used the mifi as a hotspot for my iphone and saved almost 1000 dollars.
