"Like all of you, I took great care to plan my trip to Paris. I knew what hotel and airline to use. I booked with Travelocity and opted to get the roundtrip shuttle service for $128.00. Got my confirmation on flight, hotel and shuttle. Our plane was delayed, and by the time we collected our baggage and went to meet our driver, no one was there! We spent time looking for him and eventually called. X Driver (Cabbie) customer service was rude and informed me that the driver tried to get a hold of me, couldn't reach me, and left (mind you, we were still on the delayed plane and had no service). Had the driver been tracking our flight, he should have known that we would be late. I asked customer service to send another driver and was told that it was not possible. Due to this experience, I requested that my already paid for pickup be cancelled and informed Travelocity. I was told that they would help me get a refund or at least a partial refund. Instead, Travelocity offered their apologies--and that's all we got!
PS - We ended up using a taxi for pickup from the airport for $55, and our return trip by taxi to the airport was $57. Much cheaper, more convenient, and very friendly service--I would highly recommend going this route instead.
Update: After many phone calls and e-mails I finally got a Travelocity Mgr. to hear my case and she reluctantly agreed to reimburse me for the Shuttle Service, given that the service was never provided. It did take a lot of time but it paid off! "
