"Mattress is real comfortable however the cover ripped at the bolster seams within a month... Now the flat part of the cover has many rips...
We must use a blanket to cover them..
Hey, it looked terrific when it came but fell apart quickly.. "
"I ordered a giant waterproof dog bed. Paid $180 for it. After one wash, the inside of the cover starting fraying. Now the bed has ripped at the seams where the bolster is. Because the ends of the material being frayed, there is no way to sew it back, as it will do it again. I called Treat a Dog, and like other customers, was told sorry it's been over 30 days. All we can do is offer you a 20% discount on a replacement cover. Um, well if you don't need to wash your bed until after 30 days, how would you know? When I asked the lady why would I want to pay to order a replacement cover when it would probably do the same thing, she said that they have redesigned the covers and so they will be more durable. Soooo, it's pretty obvious they knew their covers were a problem. I researched before buying this bed, because of the price, but all I could find was good reviews. It's unfortunate that I did not come across this resellerratings site beforehand. "
"It is nice when you take it out of the box but you cannot wash it. The cover falls apart and the black backing breaks apart after one month. It is not water resistant at all. It is a real pain to clean - the zippers do not work- I called to get a replacement cover and the customer service rep told me they could not help me as it had been more than 30 days and they could give me 20% off. What a rip off"
"I purchased with a checkout option that claimed shipping would take 2-4 days. It's been over 4 days since my order and they haven't shipped it yet. I inquired about a refund (I needed it for a road trip and it didn't arrive in time) and they ghosted me. I read their terms and conditions, wish I would have done that before purchasing. A horrible company, I will be filing for a chargeback. "
"My dogs, all 4 of them have one of these beds and they absolutely love them over any bed they have ever had. I was pleased with the company, the bed and the excellent customer service. I have purchased 4 of these beds and have 4 very happy pups. "
"The pup rug dog bed may look awesome, but ours is cheay made, nonreturnable, and nonwashable. It is way overpriced. My dog doesn’t like it. When I washed the washable cover on gentle, it came out in pieces. The zippers never worked. The faux fur is actually rough and sticky from the time we took it out of the box. I would never buy this again. "
"This might be my best purchase ever made and it was for my pup. He is OBSESSED this his bed. He was the moment we pulled it out of the box. It’s like he knew. He sleeps hangs plays on it. I had another dog bed that was cheap and he didn’t care for so to see him loving this one so much makes me so thrilled. Plus it looks good :) everyone is asking where i got it! "
"Bought TWO X-Large Beds. BOTH beds are ripping and black stuff inside shedding everywhere in less than a month! Customer service (if they get back to you at all) will take days to return any messages and WILL NOT be helpful! Super disappointed I spent this much money on dog beds and I'm treated with horrible customer service and low-quality product.
"
"I didn’t realize they would only back their product for 30 day. At day 68 our pup protector seat cover developed a two foot tear. When I requested service I was politely told the products are only warranted for 30 days. Beware!"
"I purchased the PupLounge Memory Foam Dog Bed but even after a week, the foam wasn't expanded properly. I contacted Support, and Michelle Figueroa responded quickly to my request for a refund. Michelle Figueroa was very nice and accommodating. I will definitely use TreatADog again for future needs. "
"They do not stand behind their products! Unable to reach anyone with customer support! This place is a scam! If you look on their website and see the reviews they are all 4 and 5 stars, they won’t publish the bad reviews! "
"My wife bought two beds for our German Shepherds using Treat A Dogs sizing guide and the beds are too small. My wife immediately tried to call only to have to listen to "who let the dogs out" for about 4 minutes. When the rep did finally answer she said we had to pay return shipping. Here's what their return policy states.
Easy Return and Exchange Process:
1. Email customer care at ****@**** if you would like a refund, request a return package that includes instructions and a free return shipping label. If you would like to make an exchange, request an exchange package with a free return shipping label.
2. Ship your return, including our filled out return form.
3. When we receive your return, it will be processed in under 24 hours. Once it is processed, your full refund will be given. Please note that refunds can take up to 3 business days to be returned to your account. If you're requesting an exchange, the products you requested in your exchange form will be shipped immediately once your return is accepted, granted that they're in stock.
Please note where it says "free return shipping label". Well that is a lie. They are telling us we have to pay even though it was their sizing guide that caused the problem.
I tried to call 3 times this morning starting at 9AM EST and no one ever answered the phone and no voice mail box to leave a message.
Since it's been several weeks we have had no other option but to call our credit card company and they have reversed the charges. Now the ball is in Treat A Dog's court because we have gotten a refund and still have the beds.
I also want to note that the reviews on their website are all great since they probably delete the negative reviews."
"Dishonest and unresponsive. Have phoned/left messages and emailed more than 20 times. They do not return calls as indicated and I have received false information regarding a return. I returned a foam bed exactly as instructed & the foam bed WAS UNOPENED. I payed $13.98 to have it shipped for a refund. USPS tracking says it was rec'd within 3 days and 10 days later, Treat A Dog has not responded or corresponded it was received or the item was credited, which it is not. I phoned 3 times and emailed 4 -- received a two line email that it cannot be refunded since bed opened which IT WAS NOT. Seriously -- I paid $119 for absolutely nothing except wait, I paid for hours of my time trying to simply receive decent and accurate customer service. You are literally keeping my money for nothing -- this is unbelievable. Have filed a complaint with Better Business Bureau and will retract all complaints if refunded properly. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY."
"I have had the bed for less than 1 year. I noticed th seam ripping apart between the bolster nd the main bed. When I reached out to Treat a Dog, I was told I was beyond my “30-day” return. I didn’t want to return the bed but address the poor stitching. I was told “You can be 100% sure that we value your opinion and will use this to improve our product in the future.” Well, ok, but what about right now with this bed? I do not recommend this for the money spent due to poor quality craftsmanship."
"They sent a large bed instead of the extra-large I paid for. They stuck it in the box that says x-large. The bed, after assembles, looked small and when I sent pictures with a ruler, they would not take it back and rectify their mistake. It must happen a lot because they won’t take back the memory foam once opened. Is memory foam sterile? Worthless bed they charged over $100 for! Took 2 weeks to come and several days for customer service to respond. Cheap bed not worth money or hassle! The large useless for my dog. Waste of money"
