Wrong order sent and so far can’t return BS

"I ordered Ima-Jet 10 and paid for expedited delivery. Products didn’t get delivered. I called, they rewrote the order but left out the (10) in (Ima -Jet 10) and had the wrong product delivered. I spent over a thousand dollars. The receipt shows the cost that I paid. (Ima-Jet 10) is what I paid for but they sent (Ima-Jet) which is definitely different especially in cost. Now I’m getting run around and the wrong product while my job is now delayed by over one month. "

Doesn't deliver on time

"Ordered rope from website. Was supposed to be delivered within a week according to the site when I ordered it. After a week I hadn't seen it yet and called them. They gave me an excuse about a system update. Hadn't even shipped it yet.
Don't promise timely delivery if you won't actually do it.

Shady company.

"I ordered 25 capsules of a deflowering agent for our sweetgum tree. A week later I received 1. No drill bit, no instructions (both of which they say are included in the package), just a single capsule.

Tried calling their company number, but just got an automated message to leave a voicemail after the tone. There was no tone, the automated message just repeated until they hung up.

Don't buy from this company.

FALSE ADVERTISEMENT AND FALSE STATEMENTS

"Beware of treestuff advertising products as if they are "in stock" when they are not. Delivery dates don't match what they tell you at the time you purchase. They also sent me an incomplete order, I purchased a flipline with grabber and carabinner and the grabber has nlt arrived even though they sent me an email stating that the grabber has already been delivered. Treestuff lies, be careful with your money people."

False advertising of 'in-stock' items and refuse to cancel backordered items

"Very poor service. Their website looks nice and the pricing as well. But if you read their BBB and other online reviews, you'll see they do not have their products in stock and make you wait and refuse to cancel orders for products they do not have in fulfillment. Unfortunately, they have been absolutely uncooperative and now have to report fraud to my credit card company. Do not waste your time with this company Treestuff.com"

Used to be great

"They used to be the best in all aspects, quality, variety, and customer service. Now since the merge they have turned into another crappy arbor supply store. False advertising of availability, take no responsibility for their problems, offer no compensation for giving you the runaround for over 2 months and blame it on someone else.please stop using this company until something changes if we continue to use their services and they continue to decline the only way to get them to change their ways is to try to put them out of business. Time to start our own Arborist supply store they will be losing many customers and there is an open market for an honest arbor supply again"

Recently Merged, Customer Service is lacking

"I've spent several thousands of dollars over the years as a self employed tree climbing arborist and have never had any problems returning anything until they merged with a bigger corporate company. Alas, the nothing lasts for ever. Bigger is not always better

I purchased a pair of chainsaw protective pants in August of 2020. They didn't fit right so I sent them back. I wasn't sure if they made it after many weeks, but finally checked my tracking number. Due to Covid, it took almost six weeks for them to get back to tree stuff. I filled out the return form like usual, indicating I wanted to return them, not exchange. But, they never did. I called them. They said they would put the nearly $300 back on my debit card. That never happened. I called again, asked them to put it back on my card. The woman on the other line looked deeper into my return. Yes it had made it, she wasn't sure why it did post back to my bank account. She said she would contact her manager. Nothing. I called back about a week later, got a different woman and she said they would send me a check to reimburse me. That never happened. I called back again, got the first woman I talked to and she said it would post to my debit card in 3-5 days... Nothing.

So, feeling discouraged, I called back again, got a gentlemen, who said that I have a credit. Instead of trying to get the return back on my card (I wanted to purchase a pair of chainsaw pants from another company which weren't available at Treestuff) I just decided to buy another pair of the clogger zeros (great pants, but I already had a pair) and be done with the runaround.

They seriously lack in customer service and integrity since they merged with Sherrill. Which is a bummer since they do carry an excellent array of equipment. So, I'll only give them my money if they have something that another tree gear company doesn't have or can get. But otherwise I'm done purchasing tree climbing gear through Treestuff.

So, beware. They might tree you with disregard and blow you off like they did me.

Scam Alert

"Received product I did not order. Not sure how they got my credit card and address information. Called and told Erik in customer service some kind of mistake. Said no problem. Send product back and they would issue credit. Called back a month later to tell him no credit. Was told this is not how it works. Have to go through my credit card company to get credit. They got the product back. Said they would give credit. Then did not

Next Freaking Day . Saved Me.

"I have a Chainsaw Carving store in Missouri. Yesterday , I realized that I needed a new sprocket for my main saw. I looked at the site that I normally ordered from knowing that it would be more than a week as usual. I decided to shop around a little and found Treestuff.com On a whim I ordered the sprocket at noon. THE NEXT FREAKING DAY MY FEDEX DRIVER WALKED IN WITH MY BOX FROM YOU. You have my business from now on. IMPRESSED. Great Prices and service."

Helpful service, great parts selection

"I wanted to get a larger bar for my stihl ms291, which comes with a .325 pitch sprocket. I couldn't go any larger with the factory installed drive sprocket. I found a kit sold by TreeStuff which said it would be compatible with my saw to run 3/8 chain & bar. I contacted them to make sure it would work, since I had ordered an Oregon aftermarket sprocket I thought would fit from a DIFFERENT retailer (not treestuff) which didn't fit - I thought it would fit, but I was wrong.

Josh from treestuff helped me out and told me their kit would fit my model, and also answered some other questions quickly and accurately. The kit they sold me was Stihl branded and arrived in factory packaging (awesome). I am not sure how they figured out it would fit, since stihl doesn't sell a kit for this purpose, but awesome they figured out which parts would fit my saw to make the sprocket pitch conversion and offered it as a product.

Parts fit as they said, and I've been cutting happy. Shipping was quick and well packed. I'll be back!

Terrible experience

"I ordered a tent through the web site. The web site stated the tent was in stock. I received confirmation the following day the tent had been shipped and would be delivered in 1-3 days. I called the company looking for a tracking number only to find out, after two days, the tent had never been in stock and would not be available for over a month. Poor service. Misrepresented their product stock. Not impressed."

"I ordered a climbing saddle and received the wrong size. It was a good thing as I realized it was not the saddle for me. I had no problems refunding and getting an alternative. TreeStuff has the best prices and customer service is superb. Everyone can make mistakes, but they back there mistakes and provide excellent delivery."

"Most companies will say customers first and not really mean it, this company truly puts customers first and goes the extra step to make sure they are meeting your needs. I'm so glad I found this company because their prices are some of the best in the industry and their customer service has been above and beyond anything I could hope for.
