"We first ordered from Treetime around 5 years ago. The first tree was adequate, basic tree with no lights. We attempted to put it up again this year but the quality had diminished. We got 4 Christmases out of it before quality became a concern. We chalked it up to the lifespan of the newer artificial trees, although our older one lasted more than twice that time. We ordered our 2nd tree from them a couple weeks ago, this time pre-lit. Unfortunately the overall look was ugly. The green lights were so abundant and bright, that all other colors were lost. It was completely unacceptable. The features on the generic remote also didn't do what they were labeled to do, but that wasn't a deal-breaker. The lights however, were. We contacted Treetime and explained the issue. The woman who answered the phone explained that they're aware of the issue and have lights/bulbs on order but they haven't arrived yet. She became very condescending once we discussed the return process. They would not pay for return shipping but offered a slightly cheaper option by sending us the prepaid labels. The cost will be deducted from our refund after they receive the tree. From there, we ordered ANOTHER tree hoping that a different size and higher level (platinum) tree would make the difference. The previous tree was 9' tall & just under $1,400 after discount. The latest tree was 7.5' tall & just under $1,300 after discount. The new tree arrived with no improvements, only worse. The quality seemed lower than the previous, with many holes (we know how to fluff the tree). The green was just as bright, if not brighter. The tree looked pathetic overall. The remote didn't turn the tree on or off, and once again didn't function properly. The previous remote was still accessible and also didn't work with the last tree. We again contacted Treetime about returning the latest tree, only to be informed that we had to pay return shipping yet again. If the tree isn't functioning as is should, via lights or remote control, that's not the customer's fault. If a potential issue with the lighting is known in advance, customers should either be warned or at the very least return shipping should be free of charge. Still feeling disappointed, I decided to call myself. Upon reaching out to customer service, I politely asked for a manager if there was one available. She asked what the issue was and again I politely asked for a manager. She then said that she was "the only one back here". With that I explained the situation. She interrupted me and asked me not to slander the company, which hadn't happened. As she talked over me and interrupted, she asked for me to not interrupt her. I listened to what she had to say and then I responded. As I began to speak again, she interrupted me 2 more times with her condescending attitude. She then said that she had just the right person to call me back and argue with. What she was implying was unacceptable and unprofessional. I explained that I wasn't arguing but I kept getting interrupted. I've played it back multiple times, my request was polite and reasonable. The complete experience with Treetime has been upsetting to say the least, being so close to Christmas doesn't help the situation. When making an online purchase without seeing in person, customer service is all we have to rely on. Treetime has failed miserably in that department. You don't learn much about customer service until you have a problem. This has been a learning experience. Hopefully this review has helped some of you save yourself the frustration and headache that Treetime has caused us. On another note, balsam hill is the way to go. I can't believe the quality and craftsmanship difference. The lighting is beautiful along with the other features offered. Save yourself the headache and get your tree from balsamhill.com."

Knick-knacks, towels, tree skirts, ornaments, soaps, etc.. they even have areas that teach you how to create your own Christmas theme in your home. Extremely helpful representatives - everyone there is so upbeat & knowledgeable. When you phone them, the reps that answer the phone are so friendly & informative... I love this place and recommend it to anyone nearby - if you've never visited there, YOU MUST! If you've never bought a tree from them - YOU SHOULD!"

"I would highly recommend no one purchase anything from Tree Time. When you visit Tree Time's website they proudly display Consumer Reports on their homepage. Now I avidly read Consumer Reports and so I started by looking around Consumer Reports website looking for anything about Tree Time, I have been unable to find anything. So then I did a Google search for "Tree Time Consumer Reports" and I again found nothing. So after my searching I decided to contact Tree Time using their Contact Us link on their website and and I asked for a link or a copy of an article where Consumer Reports mentions them and they have not responded to me and that was several weeks ago. "I've found the folks at Treetime to be very straightforward & honest. They sell high-end, nice quality products, and their policies are very clearly listed on their website. I noticed another review on here which everything stated in it is far from the truth. If you visit their website you will see their policies & rules for everything else are very clearly marked. Their customer service representatives are very helpful & friendly people."
