"Ordered a tree off Treetopia, a day later they contacted me and said they had none in stock but they charged my credit card anyway. Ten days later they refunded my credit card but it was $150 CAD less than what they originally charged my card, so I now have no tree and I'm $150 worse off. Buyer beware they obviously knew they had run out of trees but they wanted to defraud my card. They are just a bunch of American scammers aiming overseas at honest Canadians."

"Treetopia gave me what may have been my worst ever online retail experience ever for Christmas this year. Eight shipping delays and a total of 15 days to ship a tree from Sacramento to Alameda, California. I called their customer service a total of 6 times an not once was anyone over there able to do a damn thing about the situation and even got MAD at me because I was getting mad. They totally jacked my 7 year old son's Christmas this year because I had to tell him half a dozen days in a row that his Christmas tree still wasn't here. It only arrived 5 days before Christmas (I bought it on the 6th!) One of the most "precious" moments of this whole debacle was when one of the agents there said "this is always a busy time of year for us". Which I just had to laugh since, DO YOU HAVE ANY OTHER TIME OF YEAR? They sell Christmas trees for God's sake and can't deal with a Christmas rush. They took zero responsibility for their shipping boondoggle and did nothing but say call back tomorrow.
Not only will I absolutely never patronize Treetopia again, I have told all my friend never to shop with you either. Not only that, the tree wasn't even all that nice. These guys **** the big one."
"I purchased a tree in 2018. In came without the footpedal controller. They promised I would receive one at the start of the 2019 season. It is Dec 12th and no resolution has been made. I was also hung up on with one call after a 45 minute wait. They are terrible. Tomorrow were sending it back and getting one from Balsam Tree's!"

Wrote to them and someone promised to get back to me - they didn't.
Finally called again, and was told my robot-like CS rep, we can't help you, you're tree is out of warranty.
Pay a little more, and buy from anyone but TT.

"This company shipped me a defective tree. The entire middle portion on the tree had not been trimmed to match the other 2 sections. I was so livid as I had paid a lot for this tree. I threw that POS at the road for trash pick up. I went and purchased a beautiful tree locally. Another life lesson learned! Don’t order a Christmas tree, go locally and see what your getting first hand. If something is not right with it you can take it back locally and NOT have to deal with such poor customer service with this dog and pony show company!!! They **** beware, purchase at your own risk!!! "

"If I could give Treetopia a NEGATIVE 10, I sure would!! We purchased the skim milk white pencil tree from Treetopia a couple of years ago. The first year it was beautiful and we were thrilled. The second year we put it up, the lights on the entire middle section were not working. The best Treetopia would do for us was send out new light bulbs - but the light bulbs weren't the problem - it was the wiring - and we told them that! So we ended up purchasing a strand of lights and re-wired the middle section ourselves. Last year, when we took the tree out of the special container we had purchased for it when it was new, we noticed a very slight discoloration - the white tree was not so white any more! We really didn't think anything about it until we took it out yesterday - the entire tree had turned a CREAMY YELLOW color ! ! ! Given that we have stored the tree in a large plastic container in our basement, NOT in direct sunlight and certainly NOT in a damp basement (our basement is fully finished), there should be absolutely no reason for the tree to turn color - other than it is an extremely POORLY MADE, CHEAP QUALITY Christmas tree ! ! We would have been much better off purchasing a tree from Wal-Mart - it would have been less expensive and Wal-Mart stands behind their merchandise. After speaking with Treetopia's useless customer service today, we were told to spray paint it white!! IMAGINE!! We will NEVER purchase anything from Treetopia again! THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS!! Inferior quality. Super-high price. Shop at Wal-Mart or Target instead!!"
"I bought a tree back in September. As I opened up the box the day after Thanksgiving, I was delivered a tree that was not able to be assembled together, meaning wrong tree sections sent to me. I called Treetopia that day, they told me they would send me out a new replacement tree that should be processed the following Monday, November 26, 2018 and that they would be shipping it by 2 day Air by Fed Ex. It is now December 2nd, I still do not have the tree. I have called multiple times only to be told, there is nothing we can do, it's in Fed Ex's hands and NO, it was not shipped out by 2 day air, it was shipped out by our normal standard ground. Additionally, the tree that I purchased back in August has gone on sale and I asked for me to be credited the $50 especially with what I have had to deal with. The response was no, we only credited the sale prices by 7 days, which I understand in normal circumstances but with this company completely sending me a damaged tree, you would think for customer service relations, the least they could do is credited me this $50. Per Fed EX's tracking number, there is no delivery date posted and Treetopia's response was, "Its out of our hands, hopefully the tree will be delivered to you by the end of the week." I really would of thought the least they could of done was call Fed Ex and get me a delivery date so I know when it will be arriving. Hopefully I will have a Christmas tree by Christmas."

I purchased the smaller (~4 foot) silver tinsel tree with white lights. It arrived quickly, was packaged well (in the same box I have used to store it in between each Christmas for the last two years), and was incredibly easy to assemble.
It has been the central feature of my living room for each of the last holiday seasons and I have received so many compliments! I also just love coming home to it each day of December - it makes my day.
I couldn't have had a better experience and hope to keep my little tree for a very long time! Thanks, Treetopia for such an awesome addition to my home and to my holidays :) "
"DO NOT PURCHASE! Horrible product and customer service!! Tree looks great to start with. I purchased a white 8' tree on October 22nd 2013. It looked great out of the box but shed a ton of needles. I pulled it out this year on November 8th and all the inner branches are completely yellow. It is unusable and it looks like the tree has lost half it's needles. I called customer service as the tree was warranted for 5 years. The lady I spoke with said as it was only several weeks out of warranty she would refer it to their customer service department to see if I could get a replacement. No word from them for a week. Finally called back and was told the replacement was denied. Spoke to a supervisor who was very snotty and said that white trees can discolor from being stored in a box. I said it wasn't stored in a box, it was stored in a tree bag. She said there was nothing they could do except offer me a "small discount" on another tree. I'm harding likely to purchase another junk tree that will only last four Christmases! She also said that I should have taken my "seasonal item" out to inspect it in October before my warranty was up! They could have had a client for life as it was my first purchase with them. My Costco tree from 2006 looks as good as the day I purchased it! I would strongly recommend shopping elsewhere for a tree. "
