"Hi, It's been a while since I redeemed TruReward points. The checkout process is always a bit convoluted, but when adding a trutech reward gift cert, even moreso..
I added the item I wanted to my cart, then remembered the reward, so I redeemed my points, then it was in the cart with my item, so I had to remove the item, then go through the checkout process again, then wait for the email, got the confirmation, then I got the email with the code, then I had to add the item to my cart again, and finally was able to apply the GC to the order.
It was a bit agitating, since I thought it would be a 2 minute transaction that turned into about 10 or more mins.
I have the highest respect for TTT and am not trying to be difficult, they have always *far* exceeded my expectations, but it would make the process a lot easier if it were streamlined, i.e., add an item to the cart, redeem rewards and get an immediate code to apply, making it a one step purchase.
That said, I realize that there my be procedural steps that you're required to follow.

"Fun experience, need to fix online phone site. I had to use a desktop to get the parts. ( I Do not own a computer) The phone site kept adding 2 of everything when I would add it to the cart. Also during checkout I was prompted to only have "numbers" for my 3 digit card code. I checked it several times and it kept failing. Not sure if its on your end or mine? But , one of us has an issue.
