"I’ve purchased allot of tool for our company from Trutech and have had good service up until now.
14 weeks ago i purchased a flir gun and covid hit, so understatedly the shipping was going to be delayed.
Every few weeks I had to email and ask for an update. First it was end of April, then it was beginning of may, then end of May, and last early June.
I had asked since I purchased and paid over $1k for the item when they finally receive it from the supplier if they could send it next day air or quicker then the usual UPS shipping.
I was told it would be a waste of their money.
In May I purchased other items from Trutech and paid the usps shipping and received my tools in 3 days.
Instead When they received their shipment from Flir TruTech shipped it UPS which I had already asked them not to, now I have an 8 day eta.
I understand the delay from the supplier.
Poor communication and updates when a product that was paid for is over 12 weeks delayed is just poor customer service.
When things are good it’s easy to provide good customer service.
When times are hard, that’s when your true company values are tested.
