"Don't ever order from this company. I placed an order for some nerf bars for our truck and they sent me bars that did not fit. I worked with the manufacturer for 2 months because they kept telling me that they would fit.
I then returned them and only got part of my money back. They took 20% of it for restocking the them which is ridiculous. I also had to pay to return the bars even thought it was their fault.
They lack terribly in customer service and follow-up. Again, don't buy from them! "
"I ordered a Tri-vent rear slider window for my pickup.
I was sent a Dou-vent rear slider instead, I emailed Truck Add Ons for a RGA#
to exchange the wrong window for the window I ordered on Feb 4, 2008. Followed
up with phone calls everyday and was either sent to voice mail (neither John or
Michele returned a single call) or told it would take 24 to 48 hours to process.
Finally received email denying request for exchange late on the 7th of Feb (102
hours after email was sent).
Email from Truck add ons:
hello, ok 2 things, first this order was placed back in Dec 28th and you had
until Jan 15th to request a return on this item and the manufacturer no longer
makes a "tri-vent" on this year model vehicle -- the duo vent is the only one
available -- we are unable to process this return request since it has been past
the 14 days from date of reciept per our returns policy -- here is the copy of
the tracking information on delivery date -- you can contact John the returns
manager if any questions on this --- i will forward this to him as well so he
has all informatoin
They are saying the request was denied because of time but it was Ok for them to
send me something I never ordered and on top of that the window they sent is
cheaper than the one I wanted. But they billed my credit card for the more
expensive window and never refunded me for the difference in price of the
windows. So as far as Jim concerned they have not finished the order and the 14
days has not even begun.

"I saw other reviews about this company that were negative and I can't speak for their experiences, but I can say that I placed a large order for multiple items right before Christmas and already received the order. So they delivered on there promise to send me what I ordered in a timely manner. But I did notice a negative and that was that they don't provide you with tracking automatically and don't want you to contact them until 10 business days after order if you had problems. They really need to work on their customer service if they want more business, but they had great prices on what I needed. "
"On Oct. 13, 2007, I ordered a DualLiner pickup-bed liner. Credit card charged on Oct. 16, 2007.
The DualLiner bed liner comes in five parts, clearly described and pictured on their web site:
• One "load guard" (front of bed) piece
• Two side pieces
• One tailgate piece
• One bed mat
Received PART of the order within 10 days. There were four pieces, everything EXCEPT the bed mat in one box. The box was not big enough to hold the bed mat too, so I thought it would come in a separate box. It has not.
Went to Order Tracking - told them that the bed mat had not arrived. Got an e-mail back that said I did not order the bed mat - I had ordered the DualLiner bed liner. E-mail marked "CLOSED".
Sent another e-mail explaining that the bed mat is one part of the DualLiner bed liner. Got another e-mail that said "Sir - I don't think so." E-mail marked "CLOSED."
Sent two mor e-mails asking for an answer. They are ignored.
Wrote a letter - ignored
They have my money. I do not have what I paid for. Why won't they answer"
"I wish I had checked the reviews first on this merchant. I received 1 of 2 items within the first week of the order. When the 2nd item didn't arrive within 3 weeks I emailed them and was told it would ship out that day. After 10 days and still no item I called them and the girl told me she had to speak to her supervisor and would call me right back. I never received a phone call or email. I called them back after 10 days and ask to speak to the girl's supervisor and after being put on hold for 15 min. I was told they would expedite the item and I would receive it in 2 days.
Do yourself a big favor and order elsewhere, I certainly wish I had."
"Do NOT buy from this Internet company. I bought a hitch step and floor liner for my truck. When the hitch step arrived from fedex, the box was ripped open. Lucky me all the pieces were in the box. I went to return the floor liner and have been waiting 2 weeks already for a damn RA# to return it. Kept calling them on the phone and keep getting run arounds that they are sooooo busy to give me a damn RA#. Other Internet company's give me an RA# in less than 5 minutes on the FIRST phone call. First you fill out the return form on truckaddons website, then you have to call 3 days later to find out what's going on and why you have not received an RA#, then your only told that they are busy, then after 15 calls later, you get an email stating that my return request has been recieved and in a day or 2, I'll get the RA#??????? They just don't want me to return the floor liner because they don't want to give me my money back which is another joke...they charge a 20% re-stocking fee EVEN if you don't open the box!!..what a rip off!! I just sent them an email stating that I better get an RA# by tomorrow or I will file a complaint with the BBB and call my credit card company to dispute the charges. Check the BBB website...others have complained about this company as well. Spend your money at a more reputable company."
"If you have half a brain you wont buy from these guys. First they sent me some other dudes order, then they sent me the wrong size shock for my Bronco. Then they hung up on me 5 times. I had to cancel my Visa and dispute the charge. They do business under many store fronts- Trailblazers.. truckadons.caradons.keystone automotive and who knows how many others. They are a piece of work!"
"These guys were great during the sales process and made many promises. Said they had plenty of my product in stock. We'll, it's November 10th and I still have not received my order and I keep getting the run around with them on the phone. I have cancelled my order. When I went online to report them to the BBB, I saw that I was not the only unhappy camper. These guys have over a hundred complaints against them and almost half are unsettled. They run a very poor business."
