"I bought a GPS system from Trusted Dealer and a External Antenna. Both were received in a timely matter, GPs works fine. But they had sent me the wrong external antenna. My order was placed in Sept 18,07 Within 3 days I had shipped the antenna back for a exchange or refund. And am still waiting to receive it. I"ve called customer service about 5 times now and each time they say it was sent that morning or the day before. And I'm still waiting on it. turned them into credit card company and hasn't been resolved as yet. Here it is Nov 5,07 and still waiting. They should not be called Trusted Dealer: As there anything but.You'd be good to stay away from them. Don't become another victim of this seller. "
"I only wish I would have found this site before doing business with Trusted Dealer. I can honestly say I will NEVER do business with them again and will do everything in my power to make sure that other individuals take their business elsewhere. As with the numerous posts on this site, I too have had nothing but one big headache since I placed my order with Trusted Dealer. Needless to say trying to save a couple bucks is not always the best deal.
My order was placed on 09/24/07 for a Garmin nuvi 660 GPS $510.00 along with an external enhanced antenna for $89.00. These items were in stock and ready to be shipped. I received a voice mail on 09/26/07 stating that they needed me to call their 800 number to verify my shipping address since they had been dealing with a lot of fraudulent orders. The only one performing any fraud was TRUSTED DEALER!!! When I called the number the sales person went into their “sales pitch” of accessories and an extended warranty which sounds very familiar to the other posts on this site. I did decide to purchase one of their external enhanced antennas for $89.00 but declined on the extended warranty. The unit did come within five days after placing the order which after reading other posts on this site I should be extremely happy with. The only problem was that the power antenna that was delivered was for a different unit. Trusted Dealer shipped the wrong one. I called their sales department and was given a return code and told that I would be reimbursed the charges of sending the unit back once they sent out a replacement part. According to the United State Postal Service my return package was delivered to TRUSTED DEALER on 10/3/07. I contacted Trusted Dealer’s customer service on 10/05/07 “which consists of ONE lady” and was told that the correct part would be shipped out the following day since they HAD received the incorrect part back.
It is now 10/22/07 and I have yet to receive the correct antenna. I have called their customer service department “remember, this is only one lady” every couple of days since 10/05/07 asking for a tracking code for my new antenna and get a different story every time I call. The first two stories I got were that the correct antenna HAD been shipped but that they could not give out a tracking number for the shipment. Why you ask, very good question and I was never able to get a response! The latest story from their customer service department “remember, this is only one lady” is that Trusted Dealer never received the returned part and that I will need to get in touch with the United State Postal Service “USPS” to find out where the package was delivered. I on the other hand DO know where the package was delivered because I track the product when returning the incorrect part and the package was indeed delivered on 10/03/07. Trusted Dealer has also stated that they had been in contact with the USPS local branch in NY and the USPS stated they still had the package and that it would be delivered on 10/18/07. So this is now the second time Trusted Dealer has stated they have received the package. So to recap, I have gone from Trusted Dealer stating they DID receive the returned antenna and DID shipped out a replacement, to they never received the returned antenna and they contacted the USPS and USPS stated they had the package and was going to deliver it on 10/18/07. UHHHHH!!!! When I asked the customer service rep “remember, it’s still only one lady” for the phone number of the USPS department she had been given the information from, she stated to me that she could not give out that information and that I would have to find the number myself since I was the one that sent the package. Come again?!?!? Did I hear this correctly? And this is the CUSTOMER SERVICE department!!!! I guess I’m supposed to believe Trusted Dealer since they have been so trustworthy so far! So, as of 10/23/07 I still have NO replacement antenna and I’m out the $89.00 cost of the antenna along with the cost of paying to return the incorrect antenna that was originally shipped.
Lesson Learned: The cheapest price on the NET is not always the cheapest price!!! If this post changes one person’s mind of giving their business to Trusted Dealer then my lost $89.00 was worth it!

"UUUGGGGHHH!!! Do I ever feel like the biggest. I've ordered many items on line before, frequented Ebay, etc but never have I had an experience like this. Reading all these reviews shows the true nature of what Trusted Dealer is, or better, what it is not. My order was place on Sunday, Sept 30th for a Zumo 550 GPS. Advertized as in stock and will ship in 1-2 days. I received an Email on Tuesday Oct 2. They needed me to call their ***-***-**** Ext 225 or 228 to verify my shipping address. Being slightly suspious by the way they answered the phone, I asked them to read verify what I had sent. They had my shipping address correct. It was then that they went into the "sales spill" of accessories and extended warranties. After a polite no, I was told that the Zumo would ship that day. I'm in Texas so I waited till Friday, the 5th to check shipment status. No answer at the office because they were closed for an upcoming holiday (Comlubus Day was Monday). Monday they said there was a delay from the previous week and that the product was shipping today (8th) and it takes 24-48 hours to post the tracking number. Thursday I call for the tracking number since it wasnt posted on the website. They were sorry but the itme had not gone out and was shipping today, next day air, their expense, so I would have it Friday (today). Hardy har har, No package when I get home and I find this wonderful website. I have contacted Citicard. Trusted Dealer was paid on
the 9th by Citi. Filed fraud claim with Citi. This dosent happen very often but Citi has always gone the distance for me if you folks ever have a need for help. Have to go wash the big S off my forehead. Trusted Dealer gives internet companies a bad name."
"Fly by night outfit. Wish I had found this site before ordering. Placed order 9/30 for ZUMO 550, Credit card charged 10/1. Now 10 days later no tracking information. Called every day and sent 5 e-mails requesting tracking no one responds or gives you an answer. If you push while on the phone they hang up on you. I have no idea if its coming. Today I cancelled order and dispute with AMEX. Go elsewhere there are too many establishments offering same products"
"Without a doubt the worst service I have ever received from a company. I ordered Garmin NUVI 660 on 9/19 was charged on 9/21 and was told it was in stock by the rep who wanted to sell me an extended warranty. Was emailed and told it was in processing and I would be emailed an update. I called again on the 25th and was told it was shipped that day. I called again on 10/1 and was told it was in procesing and I would be emailed an update and I could not have been told it shipped on the 25th. I called today 10/2 and was told it was out of stock, I toldf her to cancel it and was told to have nice day and hung up on. I called Amex to dispute it and then called back. The woman said it was shipped this day. I disputed it and agaion was hung up on. I called back again and was told again that it could not be cancelled as it was shipped. That was all she would say about it and hung up on me. These people are the worst!!!!! "
"I ordered on 9/15/07. Received e-mail they need confirmation of order 9/18/07. I called to confirm but what they really wanted was to sell me accessories I did not want. I was told it would ship out that night 9/18/07. Never received. I called on 9/25/07. They claim it was shipped on 9/24/07 but no info from a shipper so not sure it even shipped. Their policy on their website says everything is shipped within 48 business hours. NOT TRUE! Reasons they gave me for not shipping right away: They talked to my husband on 9/19/07. LIE..never talked to him. Then said had problem with credit card..another LIE. There are NO problems with cc. Then they said there was a holiday which also delayed shipping. I ordered the product on 9/15 and they claim it was now shipped on 9/24 (not 48 hours). Also their own website still shows the product as processing and not shipped. Basically they totally lied and would NEVER shop there again and please warn others not to shop their either."

"On Friday August 10, 2007 I have ordered Garmin Nuvi 680 from TrustedDealer.com because the price was the cheapest. On next Thursday August 16th I received the package but found out that the GPS unit was defective. So I resent it on Monday the 20th. It's been 15 days (today is September 4th) and I still did not get the tracking number. I called them 4 times and everytime they told me that it has been shipped and that they will email me the tracking number that evening. They failed to do so for the 5th time. They might have the best price compared to other web stores, but their return process/exchange is the worst I have ever experience. (And I am a frequent on-line shopper who has exchanged numerous items over the internet)."
"I ordered a NEW Garmin Nuvi 350 GPS. It was the best price in the market. Shipment was prompt - I received the product after 5 business days. It came in a white non-commercial box which made me suspicious about the product and whether it is genuine. I called the manufacturer and provided them with the serial number and they told me that the product was genuine. I am completely satisfied with my purchase and will do it again. The product came with all the accessories with no missing items. "

I ordered a car GPS unit (on Wed 18JUL07, late), and they shipped it (on Mon 23JUL07), and FedEx Ground tried to deliver it on Sat 28JUL07). And, it's the one I ordered, brand new/sealed.
I did , of course, have to go through the "credit card verification" call with the sales pitches for warranties, etc.), and it did, of course, take a couple of phone calls & e-mails to get the actual shipment tracking number (since they don't update the order status very often, when you login-on to their web page)."

"I ordered a camera and received a phone message to call and confirm the order. I did; he verified my card information and told me it would ship that afternoon. No shipment, no charge on my card. Their web track says "in processing." I called back 1 week later, and they said it shipped, but they hadn't updated the web. Give them 10 minutes. However, still no charge on my card. I called back and expressed my concerns. The rep said all they had was a display model. I said cancel the order. They had lied to me repeatedly, so I had the rep stay on the line while I checked my email. I did receive an email from them indicating they have cancelled my order."

"The merchant cashed payments on my MasterCard on April 27, 2007 (the day of my order) but never shipped the merchandize. I made several telephone calls and emails with no satisfactory reply. I repeated many calls and sent email for getting order status; finally I learnt that they have shipped the merchadize but never sent the Tracking number as promised initially. Long wait time for telephone calls (more than 30 min) is totally unacceptable. Communications on part of the merchant is simply miserable. I think the merchant is irresponsive and irresponsible.
This merchant must get the lowest rating."
