"I have placed a number of orders with UBid in the past year with various results, most of which have been positive experiences. Some I had to return due to defective item or not what I expected when I ordered the item. Overall the quality of the items I ordered has been very good. The main problem issue I have with UBid is that on all orders I find their shipping charges to be very excessive. In many of the orders the shipping costs where almost the same as the cost of the item I purchased. If you need any.examples please let me know."

"I have no problem with the sale prices but It's the high cost of shipping I object to. What they may lose on the purchase price they make up in what they charge fir shipping. I purchased a tiny silver coin for $3. and was charged over $11. shipping and it came in an envelope with just a first class stamp on it, not even insured. Over $!!.00 nprofit on shipping. I'll shop again but will watch what they charge for shipping, I won't over pay again!"
