"This is the first time I ordered from USA Notebooks.The Site was very easy to nav.The ordering,also was very easy.The only issue I have is not with USA notebook it self.Rather their pick of shipper.I picked the 3 day ground option from fedx.that was on a Thursday.The notebook shipped and was picked up the same day.Now my logic said the following Tuesday would be 3 days.But it showed on Wednesday.That's 4 days and I paid for 3.If may?I have found USPS to be better all the way around.Plus cheaper.Other that that the the entire experience was perfect.As to the computer.It came very well packed and the condition of this refurbished comp.Looked like new.It booted right up and performs with flaw.Thanks You guys for offering great refurbed products.I WILL order from you again! "I originally purchased two IBM Thinkpads 760XD for my children to use for school, after having them for a month found it necessary to upgrade to IBM Thinkpads T21 and these T21 the batteries can not hold a charge and would shut down after 5mins of use and we would have to plug in the Thinkpads in order to use them. Since the batteries have no life span when fully charged which was causing my children to use them less and less to the point that their father ended up purchasing brand new laptops a few weeks ago. Know this USANotebooks will not take them back, they did offer to replace the batteries and requested my response to wether I wanted to do that or not. I responded with the question of being able to upgrade to a different laptop in place of these two and so far I have not received a reponse. They never gave me a RMA# for the batteries they offered to replace and they will not RESPOND TO MY CALLS OR EMAILS ANYMORE. Very dissatisfied with their customer relations.
Good news USANotebooks has rectified the problem by taking back the two IBM's and given me a store credit to purchase something more up to date.

"I bought a Laptop for for our Church on Dec 12 2007. It was only used twice a month for a few hours at a time. A little over 3 months the computer kept shutting down. I called this company and was told that no warranty was on the battery. and they wanted $45 0r 50 dollars to replace the battery. I Purchased a new battery from a different company. after about 3 months the computer started to shut down again. Now it won't come on at all. I purchased a Lemon. I know this company is not going to Help me out in this situration. My $398.00 is gone down the drain, and Our Church is stuck with a Lemon Laptop that doesn't work. I trust and believe in God and I Know He will supply our Church which only have a few members, with a nice Laptop to keep our records. I was told that Computer Geeks is a much better company to deal with. www.computergeeks.com"

"I purchased an IBM Thinkpad T40 from USA Notebook in 2006. This computer has been used daily by my daughter for college, and now, graduate school.
It is still working well, I'm very happy with the purchase and the prompt shipping. It was received with all components, as advertised, with the exception that the OS was listed as WinXP Pro and arrived with WinXP Home. This wasn't an issue for me, as it's now running Linux!

I plan to purchase my next IBM Thinkpad from these folks. Fair prices, prompt delivery and a good deal on used laptops!

"This is actually the second purchase from usanotebook.com first one was for my personal use and the second was after recommending this company to my boss. The first experience was so above and beyond what I was expecting that while speaking to my boss he mentioned we needed 50-75 laptops for our sales team I told him about the great experience and excellent help provided by usanotebook. After a few days I was informed that the bosses had checked out there website and agreed with my recommendation. Our company purchased 65 laptops each one came in such good shape that my boss could not believe that they where refurbished and kept going on that USAnotebook must have made a mistake and sent brand new laptops. In fact they made me call and confirm these where refurbished and of course I was told they where and that while we ordered with only CD drives there was a shortage of cd drive available at the time so they upgrade all to the laptops to CD/CDRW at no extra charge. This made my boss very, very happy. "

"Terrible company. I took delivery of a "refurbished" notebook from them in July 2003. It was trash and there was nothing refurbished about it. The condition of their product could best be described as: It looked it spent an entire baseball season BEING home base. The battery would not only not hold a charge but, when examined, the casing was split open. The only thing holding it together were the "do not tamper" stickers. The DVD combo drive (if that's what it actually was) could not read read DVDs, CDs, or most CD-ROMs. USA Notebooks promised to send the replacement parts, but none were ever delivered. A few weeks later, the internal battery also died, which caused the entire OS to crash. There was no documentation sent with the notebook, nor were there any system disks (and the license of the Windows OS it ran on was also in question), so the thing was nothing better than a paperweight at that point. After more unfulfilled promises from USA Notebooks, I returned the item to them and requested a full refund. They refused to refund my money, or to fix the notebook. Instead they RESOLD my notebook to the next person unlucky enough to do business with them. I have never seen a bit of my $453.00 dollars yet, despite complaints to the BBB and various other agencies. This is not a company you want to do business with."

"I purchased an IBM notebook with a 90 day warranty on February 9, 2004. It did not arrive with the stated amount of RAM, the battery never worked and even though they used my UPS shipper number they charged my credit card $19 for the shipping. Several phone calls and letters later, the issue is still not resolved. Now I see they have changed their warranty to not cover batteries. I will not purchase from them again. Keep shopping (elsewhere)!"
