"I tried to have a good experience and give this company [usuggboots.com] the benefit of the doubt, but was really unhappy with their business practice and customer service. A long delivery time from "surprise!" Shanghai, China! found us with a pair of Ugg-like boots that appear to copy the Ugg Australia brand, including their arrival in what appeared to be an Ugg Australia box. The boots had a foul odor, and although the leather in the heel triangle containing the Ugg label seemed genuine, the boot material was of a completely different type and quality, not even matching the heel triangle. I tried to return them [a size too small and unhappy with the quality of the boot], and met with several e-mail communications indicating that I should reconsider keeping the boots for the benefit of the company. I offered gladly to pay the required return shipping & await my refund, but continued to meet with additional e-mails recommending that if I didn't like the boots I could perhaps sell them myself here in the U.S. and order a new pair. After requesting the return mailing address a number of times and never actually receiving the information to make my return, I was disgusted and decided not to spend another nickel returning the product and paying a 25% restocking fee to beneift this company with what I considered to be less that professional customer service and questionable business practices. Don't get me wrong, if the boots had fit, and if they were actually what I thought was of the quality worth what I paid for them, I would've kept them for my child to wear, but the less than professional business tactics of delaying my return and ultimate refund of the product caused sufficient angst that I opted out and will find someone who might be able to use the boots on my own. I will buy my daughter the real Ugg boots as a separate purchase, and will not be using this company again."
