"Really a good school. Cameras make me feel so much more at ease about sending my child into someone else’s care. A stranger at that. Just like anywhere, some teachers are sooo much more connected with my son and seem to care a lot more while others seem to hate their lives. Since starting my son, he’s bounced back and forth between three classrooms. He hasn’t gone even 3-4 days straight being in the same classroom. Add that on top of them switching teachers for the classrooms every day. It would be so much easier for my son to transition at this hard time in our lives if he had stability in his teachers and classrooms at school. Usually can’t even find his stuff because he’s always in another classroom."
"I have now sent both of my children to UGro starting at 12 weeks of age and have been very pleased. I love the director/assistant director and they have always been available when needed. I have heard of other locations having a lot of director turn over and am happy that has not been the case here. I can’t say enough about the infant room teachers but honestly everyone has been great. I plan to keep my children at UGro at this location up until they go to kindergarten and feel they will be well prepared."
"I love this center! All of the teachers are so welcoming. The director and associate director are super helpful if I have a problem or concern. My son has been coming out of his shell so much! I highly recommend this school."
"In general we are very happy with U-GRO. We are disappointed by the ongoing raises in tuition over the last 3 years and it seems to have gotten worse / more frequent as the center started accepting more subsidized childcare applications. We also noticed classroom behaviors increased at the same time resulting in some medical issues for our one son due to repeated incidents and resulting in limited education opportunities for our other child as a result of teachers not being able to focus on the rest of the children. As tuition costs have raised several of our child’s favorite teacher have left due to lack of competitive pay which is frustrating to hear given our tuition keeps increasing."
"Impressive facility and extremely friendly and attentive staff."
"Overall I am happy with the school. My daughter is never unhappy to go. The turnover is alarming but I do think about if that comes from poor leadership. It is obvious that there is favoritism with the directors and other teachers. As a parent I should not notice issues with staff. I’ve also seen days where I come in the mornings and the staff are burnt out because they pick up the slack from the directors not being there to support them when they are short staffed."
"In general, it started out great when my child was in the two’s classrooms. Since moving up to the 3’s, the quality of care has been lacking"
"All the teachers are nice. Lack of communication from directors."
"I love this school. The teachers, associate director and director are amazing! They all work very well together to create a positive, welcoming, enjoyable environment. 10/10 would extremely recommend"
"As I have already stated many times over again, this place is a disaster. It is dirty, many staff members are rude and apathetic, it is grossly overpriced, and the director is inept. Her method of solving problems in this center is to shuffle the handful of quality teachers from room to room to put out the fires from all of the other lazy or unqualified teachers. Nothing ever changes. It is sad, disheartening, and frustrating to see how this center has devolved over time. What's even sadder is the fact that no one seems to care. Maintain the miserable status quo and keep ripping off parents for a substandard level of care. That's all that matters."
"We loved this school for our oldest child. The toddler program has seen so much attrition of teachers that we fear it will not be the same for our younger child. Teachers do not appear to be trained on how to talk to kids and yell at them frequently. There is less structure and overall education in the last two years."
"When we picked this daycare 6 years ago for an older child the accreditations and programming was wonderful. The staff was great and not turning over every month. The teachers had been there for many years. The cleanliness of the facility was great. Communication and programming was wonderful. Post purchase everything has went downhill. New office staff has driven out tenured teachers. New hires are not sticking around because the atmosphere they were told about and saw at other UGROs while training is not the reality at our location."
"It has been great so far. My only concern is the amount of turnover for my child’s main teacher in the last couple of months. I drop her off and there are different people each time along with sometimes a different room. It makes it hard to connect at either drop off or pick up since it’s different people everytime"
"We are very pleased with his teachers in his classroom. They are very happy, kind, and loving to the children."
"It's been a good experience. Our child transitioned to the school and between classrooms well."
