"Our family loves UGro! The director and assistant director are great! We love our children’s teacher. We just wish there was a little less use of screen time for our older son when he was in the 3 year old room."
"Generally, it’s been a fine and safe place to send my children. However, there is high turnover and I’m not always impressed with the quality of the hired staff. For example, we recently had a floater on staff that we learned was on trial for DUI/ manslaughter charges. We found out this staff member was working in our center long after the accident that resulted in death took place, and that was so jarring I can’t even explain. I also know the pay rates for teachers are low, and they do t make live able wages. It is not a position that attracts high quality staff because it’s a hard and demanding job that does not pay a lot. I know it’s a bigger, systemic issue, but something needs to be done. My recommendation would be starting from the top and assessing the six figure leadership salaries, cutting those, and allocating funds differently to make tuition more affordable."
"Overall care and knowledge of teachers is excellent. Management seems disorganized or stretched too thin and not able to focus on their direct job demands. Cost is high."
"We absolutely love UGRO! The teachers and staff are so caring and kind. Shout out to Miss Ashley for sending us constant updates during the day and making us feel like we are right there with our daughter while we are at work. Such a structured environment. We love UGRO Masonic!"
"It has been good until lately. My Child goes home hurting and crying almost every week for having ACCIDENTS. Please do something to prevent these repeated accidents."
"Overall my son has had positive experiences at Ugro. The teachers and staff know him well and have been wonderful to work with, especially supporting him emotionally. The curriculum prepared him well for kindergarten. The only challenge we ever really had was when there were some staffing issues and he was not always able to be with his regular teacher, but that has not been an issue recently."
"We have loved our experience thus far at UGro. Obviously we want our son to be more happy to go to school and be less sad at the end of the day but ultimately he will adjust in time. Keep doing what you are doing and fully engage with the children as much as possible"
"Our child has moved through several classes since we have started in this school and she continues to do well. But one of the things that makes it the easiest for us is the fact that she has loved all of her teachers and they have in turn shown her so much love as well that she looks forward to seeing them."
"We’ve enjoyed every aspect of Ugro and its staff. We’re thankful for the support as working parents and are happy to know our child is safe and loves her teachers."
"The director is wonderful. She has a warm and welcoming personality. You can easily tell she is well-liked by all the children. Our child has a food sensitivity, and it was challenging at first to accommodate. We understand it can be difficult to monitor during snacks and meal time, and we have experienced a couple of incidents. The teachers were understanding and apologetic, and were quick to help find a solution."
"The director the teachers and the other workers are so welcoming loving and respectful sometimes you can't tell which is director teacher or supportive staff they do a wonderful job."
"We enjoy to summer program Myers child loves the in-house field trips outside activities It has improved in last 8 months seen improvements in not forcing kids to stay home or requesting volunteers to stay home."
"It has been very positive we are seeing tremendous personal growth in our daughter. Being our only child we lean on the teachers and aids to help us ascertain if she is keeping up developmentally wise. So we are excited that she is able to make many friends and be moved us as needed to keep her engaged and busy."
"It was great before it was bought out"
