"What a sad state of affairs it must be working at this company. Abysmal customer service. I placed an order in Jan. 2016. Order was incomplete when shipped. Attempted to contact them but they don't want a phone call. Ended up using their customer service e-mail address; that's worthless. Here's the text on that page: "We are currently updating our Order Status system. During this time all order statuses will be updated manually once each evening. Please contact us directly for an accurate update. Thank you for your patience." They say they read every e-mail within 72-hours. That's comical. Forget about that. Still haven't heard from them after multiple e-mails over multiple days.
Tried the telephone route. Good luck trying to find a phone number. It can' be found on their webpage. I finally found it on their Facebook site. I've called multiple times on different days at different times. Every time I get wait times over an hour! Every time I've waited over an hour and nothing but more of the same, ie. "All representatives are busy assisting other customers at this time. Please continue to hold and a customer service representative will be with you shortly.""
"I ordered a jacket 24 NOV 2015. It's now 22 JAN 2016. Two months have passed. After several tries at contacting them, I have had no luck, and still no jacket. Tried to call a few minutes ago and their phone has been disconnected. I remember when US CAV first started, just outside the gates of Fort Knox. They were a great business and provided wonderful services to the folks serving there at Ft. Knox. Now, they are nothing but a shell and their business ethics are less than zero."
"Ordered a pair of boots online because they had the best price. Should have known they were **** when my friends at FT Knox said their store outside post went **** up. They took my money fast enough, but never shipped any product! Over 2 hours on hold with customer service, and still never spoke to an actual person. No emails were ever returned. Disputed transaction through my bank. Don't waste your time or money on these **** clowns. "
"ALCON,
Zero stars based on the absence of customer service via telephone.
If you call their number they actually have a message explaining that they have disconnected customer service lines "while performing upgrades". A brilliant display of business acumen in disconnecting phone lines during the Christmas season and a clear indicator of new management/ownership (ASR? DSR?).
I placed an order on November 15 and still have not yet received two (2) SureFire 6PX Defender LED Flashlights. I received a routine explanation of 2-3 week backorder problems "from the vendor"; the CSR that sent the email didn't take the time to note that the order was 5 weeks past.
I recommend shopping elsewhere due to the cliff drop in service; especially if you need the equipment for duty. If the phones have been disconnected how much longer will the doors stay open?

"I ordered a pair of Tru-Spec 24/7 khaki paints on Oct. 31,2015. The charged my credit card but to date (Dec. 3, 2015) I have not received the merchandise. They do not answer their customer service line...just a recording saying "Please hold on, a customer service representative will be with you shortly...this went on for more than an hour. I sent them an email (the only way to communicate with them now) on Nov. 21 asking for the status of my order no response, I again sent them an email on Nov.23 asking to have the order cancelled. Still no response. I finally asked the credit card company to reverse the charge.
I have traded with US Cavalry for about 18 years and always thought their customer service was above average. Something has drastically changed with this company. My advice is avoid them like the plague."
"I purchased a watch online from US Cavalry. About a week and a half later, they refused to send it to me because they admitted that they posted the wrong price online. Even though I had bought it, had a receipt, they refused to honor the price I paid. You would think that a major company like this would honor their own mistake ????? Don't bother going on Facebook either and trying to obtain help from them or complain - they will just erase your comments. If you call and try and talk to someone higher up - you'll get disconnected. Its no wonder they left the Ft. Campbell area, they are just a business NOT out to take care of the military. Don't worry - the word is spreading very quickly"
"US Cavalry online retail is truly a waste of time. Do not order from them or expect any orders to be filled. They do not send any merchandise after you order. And they do not notify you that your order will be delayed or not sent. I wish I had read these other reviews before ordering from them.
I wasted two weeks and several phone calls trying to get an order for one item, starting July 3, 2015. A week later, I called to see about it's status. Unfilled, unsent, and their computer system is "in the process of being upgraded" so things are backed up. Right... Another week, two more calls. I had to cancel the order, because it was clear they do not respect their business obligations.
They will not respect their customers enough to inform about delays or to notify anyone about their "system issues." Wouldn't it be appropriate to know all orders will be "delayed" because of an "upgrade." I can't believe a business like this could possibly stay running with such a complete lack of concern for customers.
So, do not ever use US Cavalry for anything! You will only regret it."
"These people do not know how to run a business. I placed an order for a Wounded Warrior sweatshirt on July 9, 2015. I went online to check my order on July 13, and there was a status code of " in process". On July 14, I called their customer service number to find out when my order would be shipped. The representative said that she was unable to access the system, so there was no information available. However, she would take down my order information, and someone would call me back. It is now July 16, and I still have not received a phone call. My expectation is that my order would be shipped within 24 to 48 hours of receipt, which is the normal reaction time for all other online stores that I have done business with. A word to the wise, take your business elsewhere. I regret ever attempting to do business with US Cavalry."
"Placed the order 3/30/15 for $360, containing seven items. The status went immediately to "Back Ordered."
I let it sit for a couple of weeks, and contacted them mid-April to inquire about the order's status, which was still listed as "Back Ordered." No response. I wait a few days, send another message. No response. Another few days, another message, this time via email: Get a reply stating the order would be fulfilled within a week as they were awaiting the restocking of an item.
Ten days later, still nothing, so I email again. No response. I email a couple of days later; nothing. I emailed later in the week; they deign to answer, apologize for the delay, and assure me the order would be forthcoming very quickly.
Another week, another nothing. So, I email again, asking if there is a problem with just one or two items and, if so, to just ship without. Ignored. I email again the next day. They say that the order would ship "by the end of the week." The end of the week comes and goes; order not shipped.
I email again. Ignored. Again. Ignored. Again. Response: waiting for an (note: AN, as in ONE) item, due in 5/25. 5/25 comes. 5/25 goes. Nothing.
I email again, trying hard to remain civil. Ignored. Email again. Response: THREE items still missing, due to arrive 6/3. I fire off an email in response berating them for the three lies they had by now told me, and just appeal to their sense of decency to be frank with me and tell me what is really going on.
Do I even need to recount what happened 6/3? -_-
I finally email them 6/4 telling them to cancel my order. Five minutes later(!) they respond confirming my order had been canceled.
SUMMARY: They ignored roughly 3/4 of my messages and told me three lies in the 1/4 they bothered to reply to. I have been a customer of U.S. Cavalry for almost ten years, and spent thousands of dollars.
They are Incompetent, discourteous, and mendacious.
I hope they go out of business because they are not fit for serving human beings entrusting them with their money and military merchandise needs.
For those wondering why I bothered with them for more than two months, incurring stress and humiliation, it was because of my longstanding relationship with the company as well as the quality and price of its products. They used to be excellent; it all went downhill as of 2014, and they are worse than useless now.
I now shop at Galls or even Amazon. The price might be a few bucks more, but at least my orders get fulfilled quickly and efficiently, and you are neither ignored nor told barefaced lies to."
"I placed and order in Dec 2014 and never received it. I called 13 times over four months to finally get a refund but only after threatening legal action. I got nothing but unfulfilled promises and excuses. I will never order anything from them again. "
"Nearly 4 months later I am still dealing with these Jerks. First they got my order wrong. Then I had to deal with the never-ending hold and pass around customer service game. One CSR even got sick and had to lay the phone down - yeah right. My complaint went all the way to the president of the company Kathryn who refused to make it right. So I decided to be done with these jerks and mailed the stuff that the picked wrong (and never charged me for) back to them. They claim they never got the package. So still I am dealing with harassing emails and non-stop headache from a company who in the past I spent thousands with. Never again. Never, ever again. "
"I cannot believe how the company even operates! On 16DEC14 I ordered a gift card from their online store. I received an email confirmation stating that it's on its way. Well it never showed up...... I called to speak with an associate and she was absolutely clueless on how anything worked so she took down my number and ensured me that a supervisor will contact me, NOPE! So I called once more, this time the associate actually "looked up" my order and it had a completely different mailing address attached to it. I asked to cancel my order and she said she would be unable to process my request and once more took my number and promised me a supervisor would contact me. The only way I could recover my money was by filing a dispute with my bank, because USCAV will NOT answer their phones. I don't get it, I have had great relations with them in the past and as an active duty service member they were my "go-to" for hard to get gear. I'm disappointed......."
"I ordered an item online from US Cavalry. They sent me the wrong item, which costs less than I paid for shipping for the correct item. I spent two months emailing them back and forth, getting ridiculous runarounds, just to make any progress.
They finally sent me a return label saying that they'll send the correct item once I return the one they sent. This was over a month ago without a single word from them, they have also ignored my emails.
This is by far the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. It's sad that I have to contact my bank to dispute a charge because of worthless business ethics.
edit (20Jan2015): I just received an email from them saying that the item I ordered is out of stock. I ordered this item THREE months ago and have been getting ignored despite my numerous attempts at resolving this issue. I feel like you have to put in some serious effort to be this awful."
"Worst experience I have ever had with a retail store. I purchased several hundred dollers in gear from UScalvery in early January of 2013. Of the 4 items I ordered, 1 was special order, 1 back ordered, and 2 in stock. Never received any of the items. I made several calls , and would either get " it's in receiving and will be shipped by the end of the week" or " your next on the list". Then a few months ago, when I call, they tell me about they just filed bankruptcy . They then inform me that once settled, I will receive my items. 3 weeks ago, I receive an email from USCalv, saying the bankruptcy is settled and I will receive my order shortly. Well, last week I got another email from them saying since I had already paid with a visa debit card, they are not required to honor any previous orders.
So, they took my money, lied about having the merchandise, repeatedly lied about fulfilling the order before and after the bankruptcy.
Do not trust them. I am out several hundred dollers, you don't need to be. Do yourself a favor and use one of the other suppliers, like OpsGear, Poorfish, militarygear.com,etc. I've always had great service from them."
"I'm from NSW in Australia I made my order with USCAV.com on Thursday 22nd August 2013 (Australian Time) and received my whole package Tuesday 27th August 2013 (Australian Time). 5 days turn around from ordering on line from US and box of goodies in my hands in Australia that to me is Super quick and darn outstanding.
I'm a firm believer of giving credit were its due and I will definitely be ordering from these guys again. "
