"This company has entered perdition. By no means ever order anything from this website. They take your money and never send you the item. I've been calling them constantly for an order since January. I get the, one more week, four more weeks... today 6 more weeks. Its a pile of crap. They say that they have credited me my refund at their end and done all they can do to refund my money and when pressed they say that the courts won't let them press send. Never ever buy anything from U.S. Calvary! Ever! Not unless you like giving crooks and people that don't know how to run a business free cash."
"For those who don't already know. USCAV.com has filed for Bankruptcy proceedings. Exact date unknown. It seems that all their supplier accounts have been frozen for sometime .. This explains the "Back Order" status for all items.
I purchased a pair of pants in March 2013. My account was charged immediately. I called C/S after a month of waiting, and was told the item was BO. I called again on 05.03.2013 to check the status. That is when a Customer Service Rep. told me about the filing. She indicated that the employees were only told recently. I then requested a refund. I was told it would take 7-10 business days to process. I will wait and see. Then re-post the results.
It seems that this has been an ongoing problem.
That explains, the poor reviews, service, and pricing issues...

"On December 1, 2012, I placed an online rder for pair of Camelback FR Magnum Force gloves using a MASTERCARD gift card-this was to be a Christmas gift. Feedback indicated that the gloves in the size I had ordered were backordered until 12/26/12. Received USCav postcard in late December indicating that gloves would be shipped on January 14, 2013. On January 23, 2013, I contacted USCav customer service via email to check status and received a non-answer as to when the item would be in stock. On February 23, 2013 I sent email that I wanted to cancel the order and receive refund. On February 28, 2013 received email that my order had been cancelled and my method of payment would be credited with the $100 as soon as possible; person responding was not authorized to provide a specific date or timeframe as to when the money would reach my account. On March 28, 2013 I called and spoke with US Cav customer service rep to inquire about my refund and was told that it would be refunded at some point. It is now April 17, 2013 and I still have not received my refund. USCav has no problem with taking your money-but they sure do not like to part with your money to refund it! I was trying to avoid using my personal credit cards this past holiday season, which was why I used a MASTERCARD VANILLA gift card to make the purchase. What a mistake. Spoke with customer service rep for MASTERCARD VANILLA and nothing can be done until USCav decides to refund the gift card that I used. "
"First lets start of with the first time they hosed me.
I purchased a shirt from them. THEY sent the wrong size. They gave me a return number and I send it back with their label.
They charge me an extra 30 bucks for shipping! For their mistake!
But I did get the shirt in the right size nearly a month later. woo... hoo...
So now up to date.. I order Magpul Sights since at the time it was the only place I could find them considering google wont let you shop of gun parts.
They say it will ship around the 13th.. it comes and goes...
So I check and sure enough they switched my order from "Shipping" to "Backordered".. Ok fine.
I cancel the order and ask for a refund.
I wait a couple weeks and nothing. I found the sights on amazon and order them.. 20 bucks cheaper with shipping AND I got them before uscav can even bother with a refund!
Now at nearly a month and STILL no refund.
Giving them another week before I report it to my credit it card as fraud.
Never again!"
"Made an order and checked back two days later and every item is back ordered. How can EVERY item be back ordered? Ridiculous, to say the least. So I cancelled the entire order that day. It has been 15 days and no refund. Oh ya they were good about charging me; they had my money in there hand by the end of business the day I ordered, but giving me a refund is like pulling teeth. Don't waste your time with these overpriced products that are never in stock. Everything they sell can be found on eBay for cheaper and guaranteed to not be back-ordered. "Based upon the reviews on file - it seems like something has gone terribly wrong with US Cavalry after mid 2010.
Same deal as everyone else has observed. Back ordered items, no real time view of their inventory (items are listed as in stock, even if they aren't). And Customer Service proves to be less than helpful.
Ordered on Veterans Day, then 2 wks before Christmas, they email me (only email I rec'd from them), to tell me the items won't be available until after Christmas.
***Unacceptable *** - too many other better sites. I deleted my accounts and will not do business with them again.
BTW - I ordered from alternative sites, Solutions and LApolicegear, on same day as receiving US Cav's email, and I received all items promptly, and at lower price. All before Christmas."
"Apparently, Christmas at my household isn't going to happen, thanks to U.S. Cavalry.
On December 7th I placed an order for four items, one of which was in stock and said to ship that day and the others on back order but scheduled to ship on the 21st. I thought, well, that's cutting it close but if I ship it overnight it will be here on time. WRONG. After emailing the company to confirm that my order would be here by Christmas, and getting no response, I called them...3 times. The first two times, I was on hold for so long that I had to hang up because I had things I needed to get done. The third time somebody finely answered but to my chagrin, she informed me that not only had they NOT already shipped my one item in stock, only two of my 4 items would make it in time for Christmas. The other two she knew would NOT be here in time and she was not sure when they would arrive. I told her how disappointed I was after being told that everything would ship on the 21st. She could care less and had nothing to say. No discounts or other benefits were offered to soften the blow, just silence on her end.
I know my husband loves this site but I'm totally unimpressed. It seems like US Cavalry is having a constant back ordering problem...reason and logic would dictate that you simply order greater quantities and when you know your supplies are getting low, order more before you're totally out. But what do I know. I'm just a housewife trying to buy her hubby some Christmas gifts."
"Bought a pair of relatively expensive boots ($140); took them weeks to deliver; I wore them 1 week and found the fit didn't work. But US Cav absolutely will not refund or exchange because they've been worn. No allowance for a little real time use to find out of something's going to work for you. They should know better. "They have a good selection at good prices, but when nothing is ever in stock, that makes no difference.
When buying accessories like Molle gear, color/style matching is important. Try coming up with a matching set of anything that is in stock. Good luck. And when I finally lucked out and had the same style/color of multiple items supposedly in stock, one item that was supposedly in stock when I ordered was backordered when my order was shipped making all other items shipped useless. The projected month wait for the item came and went and a new projected shipping date another month into the future replaced it.
I ordered the backordered item from another source and emailed US Cavalry to cancel the backorder. I got an email telling me that my item was backordered, no cancellation action mentioned. I called their customer "service" number and was on hold for 15 minutes until I finally hung up. I never talked with a person, I only heard a recording saying over and over again that all of their customer service reps (what, one person maybe) were busy.

All very decent prices, shipping seemed reasonable to Canada for the six things i got.
ALL showed as IN STOCK.... So me being all happy pulled out my card and payed... come home after work all excited check the status and......ALL my things are BACK ORDER!!!
Not one thing, EVERYTHING was back order.
Went to the site to look at the stuff again to see if it at least changed status to warn possible buyers. But they ALL show as In Stock (green)... Not cool.
Maybe the guy taking care of the site or lack of is to blame... maybe not.
Just found resellerratings.... and by what i see, they look like US Calvary do this often enough to think its normal or ethical.
Or just never fixed whatever the hell is happening or dont care... cause im sure people are snapping all the time.
Are you gonna buy something that's back order?!! NO and THEY know that! They all show as In Stock right now, days later and I got a notice that they are ALL back Order!
They tell you... when its too late. And BILL YOU!!!
I suggest CALLING them on the phone.. and make sure they got the stuff before you give them your money ONLINE. People are saying they have good customer service... they are probably really good people and great at what they do in person/phone.
But stay away from online deals this company. Its scams like this that make people not want to buy stuff online.

I really feel cheated... out of the thousands I spent on stuff online over the years(mostly ebay) I never once felt like this. Im very disappointed. Like I was Tricked big time.... well hey what do you know?!

"I was recommended to US Cavalry from a friend and I must say, I will never shop there again. I was given a ship date of 6 days after my order. I didn't ship until 6 WEEKS after, and that was due to a week straight of emails, and phone calls, leaving nasty messages on their machine, because they NEVER picked up their phone.
I also found all the same stuff for much cheaper on a different site.
I will not ever shop here again, and will make sure that everyone I care about, never shops here either."
"I make frequent purchases online and can honestly say that this was my WORST experience with an online vendor ever! I placed my order in November and while I never received an order number or confirmation email I knew that my order had processed because my card was immediately charged. After 3 weeks I began to wonder when, or if, my order was ever going to arrive. I called US Cavalry twice and emailed them twice as well. After waiting several days I finally heard back from US Cav and their response was simply "Your item is backordered". There was no sorry, no estimated ship date, no explanation, NOTHING! I have placed orders on numerous occasions that have ended up on backorder, but it was never an issue because the vendor immediately notified me and postponed billing my card until the item was in stock. Who bills a customer for an item that they don't even have in stock!? I promptly canceled my order, found it for a better price (with free shipping) elsewhere, and will NEVER do business with this company again! I will be advising my brother's fire department to do the same. "
"This is a review of the online store.
If they have it in stock, they ship fast and since prices are good - service is good.
However, if it's not in stock, even if it gives you a ship date of just 2 days from your order date, don't hold your breath! It may come, it may not come at all. One of my backordered items came after few weeks, and the other two never came.
Since you don't get updates online when an item is backordered (even if they ship it - no shipping # !!), you have to call and the delivery estimate keeps sliding. Canceled one order after over one month on backorder, ordered from another online store and they shipped it right away!
I've also had one order shipped twice by their mistake and was never refunded the full amount back even after several calls to the customer service. They were never rude, in fact they were very polite and maybe if I called again and again I'd eventually get my credit to post to my credit card but I don't think I should have to do that."
