"RUN, DON"T WALK AWAY FROM THIS ONLINE STORE IF YOU LIVE IN THE USA!!

I was incredibly distressed with my experience shopping at Ubiworkshop.com. There is small print which says you will have to pay duty fees but in the calculation it said I would have to pay an additional $25.00 if fees, which I felt was acceptable. What the reality was, however, is once I made this Christmas present purchase, the "Brokerage Fee" turned out to be $111.80, almost 50% of the purchase price!!


Apparently, this store has a deal which requires you to pay a brokerage fee to UPS delivery. It is tantamount to extortion. I shop all over the world and NEVER had to pay this type of brokerage fee. Therefore, the lesson learned is NEVER to shop at this store unless you want to get shaken down for outrageous fees upon delivery.
Because this was a special present, I had to pay this exhorbitant fee."
