"Completely terrible seller. I ordered two items from Uncle Sams Army Nave (hesitantly, I have seen their store in Manhattan - a filthy army navy store on 42nd St.) and paid an extra $7 for "expedited" shipping. Their free shipping promises about three weeks for delivery, well three weeks later and I still don't have my item. I wrote about 4 emails. No responses. I chatted to a live presentative and got a curt "it'll ship monday." Two weeks come and gone, no item. I opened a Paypal dispute, they never bother to even reply. These guys seem to think it's okay just to take your money and run. AVOID."

"I got one to beat all. Ordered $50 worth of stuff and never received it. During the order process online I lost my screen and when I got back in and tried to look up my order number the system had no record of it. So I thought okay fine, the order didn't go through, and actually I didn't really want the stuff that bad anyway. But lo and behold a month or two later I'm looking at my credit card statement and I was charged for it. I found out it was just a bit too long ago to do a credit card chargeback. So I called the HQ in NY and gave them all the info. They said it shipped and gave me the USPS tracking number. I called USPS and I was told they have no record of actually receiving the product from the shipper, but it may be lost and only the shipper can initiate this lost goods claim, not me (the receiver/buyer). So I call Armynavydeals back and let them know this and then over the next few weeks/months a couple more follow up calls and as of today it's over a year- YES, that's no typo- a year- later and still they have my money and I have nothing. "Despite bad reviews posted here, I took a chance and ordered a black double strap canvas duffel bag. Opted for bargain shipping which could take up to two weeks according to the site. Received my order in 6 days and it met all of my expectations. I will order again from this merchant."

"I ordered a pair of boots from these guys and ended up down $10 with nothing to show for it. I ordered a size 11 boot. They sent me a size 11XN (extra narrow) which did not even come close to fitting. I then called them and sent it back. Weeks later, they finally tell me they don't have a size 11. They refunded my money but I was out the cost of shipping them back, which they should have paid since they never had the boots I ordered to begin with. Frustrating. They were slow to respond and nobody had any answers for me."

"The second time was the last time I'll make a purchase from them ever again.

(This review is in regards to their NY HQ/branch.)

The first time I ordered, eons ago (okay, just three years), I got one item that wasn't on sale. Don't recall what happened with the shipping with that, but the item has since fallen apart--even without heavy use. I'm still okay with the leftovers.

The second order happened only because they introduced some insano "surplus sale". Couldn't help myself, so I ordered a number of different items. (This was late February 2009.)

The purchase was easy, and it was just a matter of waiting... a very long time if you wanted their free shipping, i.e., way over a month's length.

When the items finally arrived early-mid APRIL 2009, they smelled like hell, two of them looked nothing like what they were advertising (translation: wrong), and one was the wrong size while sporting a ginormous stain. (What a letdown, but considering what I paid for during their "special deal", I had to deal... more or less.)

I got in touch with customer service, requested the replacement of one totally wrong item, and the exchange of the stained thing for two comparable items. I had to pay for shipping to return the offending items, but wanted to speed up the process, so I paid a little extra to get it there within a few days instead of a week.

Maybe that was a stupid move.

They took forever and a day to send me one of the two exchange items, sent me a bundle of wooly crap (which looked *nothing* like the item pictures) in replacement of a totally "wrong" item, skimped on the second exchange one.

I called and inquired, no dice, so I emailed; that took a while. When they responded, the news was that it was out of stock, so I'd have to wait some more for them to acquire a new load.

More waiting... I waited so long I forgot about this order. I get a phone call in early-mid May about the new item. They ask me if I'll accept a different color since what I requested is unavailable (so surprising). I say "fine, whatever", and they ship it out several days later.

What I finally received at the near end of the month wasn't exactly what was advertised. The listing had a lot of details for additional things that would make it seem like you'd get them too for that insanely low price, but nope. When I check that item now, the write up is very sparse, very different.

The items that were "correct" or "similar enough to the picture, although different" were actually decent, but such positive aspects are negated by the sheer stupidity of this entire transaction.

This company is to be avoided unless you don't mind sometimes getting the wrong items/crap, and waiting forever and a day for that to show up on your porch (sans flames).

Delayed caveat, but these people peddle their trash on ebay, too... always inquire about products if you're unsure about quality.

"This to is a review for the www.armynavydeals.ca website. Like the previous poster I ordered from this site with the promise of free shipping. Surprisingly when my order was entered there was a $7.50 shipping charge that appeared.

I ordered a surplus track suit plus two binocular cases. The order was sent promptly but without one of the binocular cases. I contacted them via email to tell them of the situation but all I got was a noncommittal email. I tried several times after that but to no avail.

I would not order from them again, better to take my business elsewhere.

"This is specifically for their canadian site(Armynavydeals.ca)

I was looking for a specific messenger bag and was having a hard time finding a store that would ship to Canada. Finally, I stumbled onto armynavydeals.ca. I was really happy I found them, because they had the exact one I wanted(O.D danish/european schoolbag). Best of all, everything was on sale, and was being advertised as having free shipping.

I added the item to my cart, along with a belt. The total for the 2 items was $27.46. This seemed like a great deal. Than I got to the check out and saw there was going to be shipping(an additional $7.50, for a total of $34.96) No big deal, I thought, as I'm sure they'll refund me that money if I e-mail and ask since "FREE SHIPPING" was plastered all over their website.

After I completed the paypal transaction, I checked my account and saw $45.70 was taken out... Thats when i realized even though:
-the site was a .ca domain
-the canadian flag was plastered all over the banner, and
-*everything* was about 20% more expensive than on their .com american site
They still charged in american currency(without mentioning it anywhere on the site)
Here is a picture of the item page, with all the problems pointed out:

Needless to say, I was a pretty annoyed. I'm paying nearly 2x as much as I was expecting, for things that were all sprung on me as I was checking out, or after I already paid.

I emailed their support page and was told that they were sorry, but they refuse to offer what was advertised.

As for the actual items? They came this morning and are great. No complaints about shipping time, product quality, or packaging quality.
