Beware

"I know many friends and family like a good glass of wine (and some do not)! I purchased an e-gift card from Uncorked as a Christmas gift. When the recipient tried to redeem the card ($25), minimum shipping was $29 . . .
Okay, they have the right to charge whatever they wish, but it makes the gift a little less meaningful! There is no mention of the shipping pricing on their site. When the recipient let me know, I purchased a local gift certificate and requested a refund from Uncorked. I was told that once e-gift cards go "into the system", there can be no refund . . . Huh?? I have sense responded and awaiting a reply.
Just a fair warning . . . I would be wary of purchasing anything from Uncorked online as (1) their shipping charges will devastate your bank account; (2) the customer support thinks their customers are idiots; and (3) I don't believe they care how they make their money.
Just my opinion.

Outstanding selection and customer service

"Not sure how things were in the past, but I ordered a bottle of wine to be delivered on Valentine's Day, and it went perfectly. The customer service team was very friendly and responsive when I had questions about how to coordinate the delivery. The wine itself was very enjoyable and of high quality. Will definitely order from them again."

New Customer Service

"My experience with Uncorked started out scary as well. I used uncorked to send wine to a family member but I actually sent it to the wrong address. I scrambled to get a hold of anyone at Uncorked and then stumbled on these reviews and basically freaked out. I also was not getting anyone to answer my phone calls, and the email I sent to customer service through their website did not go through. I finally left a voicemail with little hope that I would get any help. lol and behold an angel named Joanne called me back expressly. She assured me that Uncorked has a new commitment to Customer Service and I would have her support all the way through successful delivery of the wine and she stood by that. I received daily updates from Joanie on the status of my order. She was able to change the address and schedule a specific delivery date that worked for my recipient. She really is AMAZING! Please don’t hesitate to order with them. Joanie will not let you down "

I wish there were NEGATIVE star ratings. LOSERS!!!!

"Two & a half months wait. No response to emails, no answered phone calls. These idiots are simply resellers, trying to make a buck as the middle man, with no systems in place. My story is the same! They must have eventually canceled my order and deleted me from the system, as my name and account "NO LONGER EXISTS". Man, I hate this crap. Taylor, please open a case (if there are any), and drink yourself to death! ;-("

Um worst company ever.

"Ordered wine as a gift on December 14th and was meant to arrive around December 20th. Package was damaged in transit and sent back to the sender. No notifications from Uncorked until we sent an email to check on the status. We received an email back (from someone named Stephanie Cook) saying they can send a new package IT WAS A MIRACLE TO GET AN EMAIL BACK. We emailed back that it was already too late to resend anything and we asked for them to return the money. We called about 4 times at this point and sent many emails. It's JANUARY 18TH and still no refund and no wine anywhere. "

Wish I had read the earlier reviews before ordering

"I ordered wine as a holiday gift for someone on December 21, 2017. I was told that the expected delivery date was between December 27 and December 30. It is January 8, and the gift recipients have not received the wine. What's worse is that uncorked will not respond to me. I have left two phone messages and sent two emails. *crickets*

Terrible customer service !!!!!

"I placed my order on 12/20 and I knew my order would not be received by 12/25 but I am still waiting for the order to be shipped. When I call customer service all I get is a voicemail and no returned calls. I have ordered from this company before but this is the last time. Please use someone else instead of this company they do not seem to care about customer service at all. "

Poor Customer Service

"I also placed an order on the 13th of Dec and it hasn't been shipped as of today 12/21/16. I have reached out to them via e-mail and received the same response that my order is ready to ship and I will be notified when it does. I also tried called the customer service phone # provided on the website with NO luck in reaching a PERSON. Just the automated ring around!!! If I could give a negative star I would. I have left 2 voice mails and sent another e-mail so hopefully (doubtful) I will get a response ASAP. Good luck and chose another vendor. "

Be prepared to wait a very long time for delivery

"I placed my order on December 12th. On December 19th I sent them an email asking about my order status and expected delivery. I was told it might ship by the 24th. No reason or apology was provided. A day later I got a computer generated notice that the wine was "on its way" but was not provided with any further details. At this point, I have no idea if or when this gift order will arrive. It's doubtful that it will arrive before Christmas. Why an order should take 10 days to leave their warehouse is a mystery. They tell you "For your planning, average delivery times from your order date to Texas are approximately 10-12 business days." That is obviously not true. These guys need to get their act together if they want to be a successful company. "
