"I paid to have dresses shipped overnight. 4 days later they still havent arrived. Customer service said "oh well""
"So I had placed my order in april, it took them till june to ship my order, they purposely didn't include part of my order in my shipment even though itwas in stock, just told me they wouldn't be sending that dress with the rest of my order and then refused to fully refund me for said item.
It's now end of august and I still haven't gotten anything. After contacting their customer service, they were supposed to contact DHL to find out where my package went and then once again ignored me completely for a month even though they'd "get back to me in 5-7 days". After contacting them once again, they didn't even mention my package, so I'm guessing they never actually bothered to check where it went, and they promised to fully refund me. Well, as you can guess, no refund to be seen anywhere. You're better off burning your money, that way you still get some heat out of it and it's not a source of stress for 5 months...
Oh, and they're deleting my negative reviews (and the negative reviews of how many others) where they can..."
"This company is terrible. I have bought a few things from them, while they were ok this last experience is beyond awful. I returned a dress. They e-mailed me and said they issued a refund. They didn't. I contacted them and they said it shows on their end that it was given to me. This went back and forth. I finally contacted my credit card company. They confirmed it was not issued. They opened a dispute with them. This LYING and CROOKED company told my credit card company that they did not receive the dress back from me!! I sent in my documents proving that they had told me they received the dress back but I was late by ONE day through a misunderstanding on my part and the credit card company said they had to close the case. So basically this dishonest company was able to keep my money. I will NEVER do business here again. "

"I bought three flapper dresses over the years with Unique Vintage and the quality is fantastic. I got them for Halloween, flapper style. I got so many compliments and they fit like a glove! I had an issue with one of them not arriving but customer service was so nice and shipped a new one no problem. I highly recommend!!!"
"Beware folks! You better really, really like that dress and shirt you bought on-line. Their "medium" size would fit a first-grader, but they won't exchange your items for another size. You are stuck with clothing you cannot wear if you buy a "final sale". Their return policy is Draconian. I doubt they will stay in business long with these policies."
"DO NOT ORDER HERE! Go to Mod Cloth if you want to work with functional buisness. Or just order from China because you will get the same product for less. They are a shiny website selling you cheap imports. They don't have any stock and ship everything from overseas. This company has a reputation. They say something is available, and then tell you it's backordered and it will be months before you get it. They can not manage their invintory and distribution. In the day of free two day delivery they are deluding themselves to think that people are willing to put up with this. And then their "customer service" tells you just to cancel. They say you are wrong and do nothing to help. They do not care how much they inconvenience you. I made a complaint with the Better Buisness Beuro for their shady and unreliable practices. Stay away if you actually want to get the product that you paid for. I have found numerous others with the same experience. And when you think that only a fraction of upset customers write reviews it looks like things are falling apart over there.
Update: the gm canceled my order against my will and sent me a passive aggressive email that my negative reviews equaled harassment. Big old polite FU. They are a company in trouble. Their first reaction is to burn bridges. They are never getting my buisness and I will make sure that I let everyone I can know to avoid this buisness at all cost"
"I love this website about half of my entire wardrobe is from there. I never had any problems with shipping like other reviews stated but maybe I’m just lucky. I also had to return a dress once but it was pretty simple for me the hardest part was finding somewhere to print the return address thing they give you since I don’t have a printer at home. Make sure you look at the size chart though because they sell many different cuts of dresses and brands."
"Purchased a $328 prom dress on final sale ( I think all their prom dresses are final sale, possibly) We trusted their size chart, plus the fact that the site stated the model was wearing the actual size we were purchasing. However, When it arrived, it was several inches too small in the hips and bust. At first I thought maybe my daughter gained some weight. I figured I would just have to try and sell it. (couldn't sell it, no one wants it at even half what I paid) When we went shopping for another prom dress elsewhere, we found she had not gained any weight or inches.. and so I took a closer look at the dress and measured it and compared to their size chart. I contacted the company and got the runaround and then had to send pictures of the dress showing measurements, only to be still told there was nothing they would do about it. The company will not work with you, will not refund, or give store credit or even replace with another size. So please, be very careful with purchasing a final sale item from them. "
"Scam site. Took my money 2 weeks ago and still refuses to ship me the items. Have been lied to by multiple CS reps who state my stuff will be overnight shipped. After 2 calls and 5 live chats, I am reporting to the BBB and trying to get my money back from my cc. Avoid these scammers at all costs."
"The clothes on this site are beautiful, but the site itself is so glitchy it's just too frustrating to use. I attempted to create an account, and when I did, I was asked to verify my email (which i did promptly). The site did not recognize that i verified my account until at least 24 hours later. This problem made it so I was unable to order the product I wanted until I logged in through amazon. Doing this was a little easier. More problems only arose when I received my product. I ordered a bathing suit skirt that was advertised as high-waisted. It barely reached my navel. Going through the steps to receive my return labels were no problem, but when I tried logging in through amazon again to leave my review of the product, the site kept on redirecting me to the login page without actually letting me log in. So unbelievably frustrating."
"THERE IS NO RETURN, EXCHANGE OR STORE CREDIT FOR FINAL SALE ITEMS THAT ARE NOT AS ADVERTISED! I bought 3 dresses the exact same size 2 fit perfectly BUT one was so small that it could not come together in the back where it zips... it could not come together by 4 inches... which lets me know that it was a final sale because the merchant knew that the dress was 3-4 sizes smaller than advertised. Then I am supposed to be stuck with a tiny dress that I can do nothing with but look at. I gave it to my 11 yr old granddaughter in the hopes that one day she may be able to fit it. I will never recommend this store! At these prices there should be some remedy when you're sold something that is NOT AS ADVERTISED!
I will put this review out on every clothing blog, because this policy is absolute greed and an excuse to get rid of stuff that Unique Vintage would otherwise not be able to get rid of!"
"I bought two XL size dresses...they are closer to a size 8. I wear a size 12, so I got XL to be on the safe side. These are sale items, so they won't take them back or even give a store credit. This is just wrong! The sizes are sooo far off and the return policies are such a joke...I would advise people not to ever purchase from them. Its such a shame they do business so poorly, because the dresses are actually quite pretty and would be worth keeping if they were a reasonable company."
"WORSE PLACE EVER. I spend $600 on a prom dress. The final due date that it was supposed to be here I called and they said they were still making my dress. They promised it would be here within a week and my prom was that next weekend. So it was pushing it. The day before prom I call in a panic because MY DRESS STILL WASN'T HERE. they said "I'm sorry we haven't even started on the dress." I was livid. I ordered the damn dress two months before my prom. I will NEVER as long as I live order from this website and ill make sure my friends and family know never to order from this joke of a business."
