"Terrible service, DON'T shop here! I used to order a lot of clothes from the urban outfitters website and was always satisfied with their service. I don't know what changed in their management but the last few orders all got messed up and they didn't answer any of my emails. The showed me a complete lack of appreciation for their customers. First of all they sent me a leather jacket in the wrong colour. When i send them an email about it and saying i would return it they sent me out another jacket without my request. And again, this was the wrong colour. So now i was stuck with having to post back 2 jackets and having to pay for the international postage costs (i live in the Netherlands). When i contacted them about this matter they just ignored all my emails. I'm now resorted to trying to sell the second jacket on ebay and get some money for it but it looks like i will have lost quite a bit of money because of their mistake. I'm so angry about the total lack of communication too! They also sent me a skirt in the wrong colour but i've just accepted it as i don't have time to go through the same thing again with them. I will NEVER buy in their online store again. "
"I love the clothes on the website so much, but it was sooo hard to place an order! All I wanted were a pair of riding boots, but I cannot explain to you how hard it was to order that pair of boots. I had to sign in, then sign in, then in on a different account, make a new account...it went on and on. By the end of this, the quantity of the boots changed to 7! Beware of the ordering process!"
"I usually have no complaints about this site and it's very prompt. However, I've been extremely disappointed with their service of getting back to me. I ordered earrings and received them broken so of course I sent them back. However, I didn't get a refund and I emailed them over 3 or 4 times in a matter of two weeks asking what has happened. They always reply asking what the item was and apologizing, but I've given the information and STILL no refund and NO replies on what's going on. I'm now hesitant to buy things from there again, because I can't trust them to give good service which is disappointing because I've spent hundreds of dollars on them and now I'm just going to spend it elsewhere."
"I purchased a Penfield parka online as the shops had run out of sizes just before Christmas. Shopping experience was as expected, easy to navigate, review basket as well as select type of delivery. Little did I know that next day delivery means something completely different for Urban Outfitters, it means it is next day delivery from the time the order is processed and dispatched their end, that can be next day delivery 2 days after you've actually purchased the item.
I only discovered this after repeately calling their call centre and trying to find out where my order was. After 5 calls I managed to speak to someone who was going to cancel my order as this was never going to arrive in time for Christmas even though I had paid extra for a next day delivery.
Overall, I was very dissatisfied with the delivery methods, very misleading and the lack of calling back to notify me with the status of my order was pretty frustrating, specially as I've never experienced something like this with other online vendors."
"Urban Outfitters has the WORST customer service I have ever experienced.
I ordered two dresses online and when my order arrived, one of the dresses was the wrong size. I called them to let them know, shipped it back and waited 3 weeks for a new dress to come in the mail. This dress was ALSO the wrong size. This time I emailed, specifically asked them to make sure the next replacement was the correct size, shipped it back, waited another 3 weeks, and VOILA, ANOTHER dress that was NOT THE CORRECT SIZE.
So that's three dresses, all the wrong size.
As you can guess, I am giving up on the dress, and I will NEVER shop at Urban Outfitters again."
"Worst customer service I have dealt with in a long time. My first order was shipped to the wrong address, so I called to see if I could get it cancelled and reshipped. (with advertised free shipping but then charged a $10 "oversize shipping" fee)
First person told me no. Called back to see what my options were, and was told that they could in fact cancel it and would have it reordered/remailed to the correct address. The first order never got cancelled so I ended up with two $100 charges and two shipments. The package did not come with a return packing label , so I called Urban again. This time the woman told me that she would schedule a UPS pick-up within 48 hours. So, after 72 hours my family decided to take it back to the store where they would not issue a credit back to me, but instead would give me store credit. Now I'm stuck with store credit for a store that I don't want to support because of their customer service & return policies. I wrote an email expressing my discontent and - surprise - never got a response. "
"I decided to furnish nearly my entire first apartment from urban because their somewhat cheap and they send the products quickly even the two side tables that I bought came four days after I ordered on a Sunday but one of the other products weren't sent and one of the side table didn't come with the knobs, kind of pain but not to bad for my first experience shopping at uo online. I emailed customer service the next day and got back some generic response saying that I had to repack this side table, luckily I kept the box and stuffing, and leave it on the front porch for a pick up. Why they can't just send me two little knobs is beyond me, they have yet to send me my last item or pick up the table hopefully they get me my stuff before I move to my new place."

"Very fast shipping. We submitted out order late on a Sunday night. They shipped the product 2 days later in the late afternoon. Product arrived 2 days after that on the following Thursday. The product, a handbag for my daughter, is well constructed and designed. It is very sturdy, which is what we were looking for. However, it was made of a lower quality leather than we expected for the price paid."

I've had to call customer service just once to double check an order went through correctly and they were extremely helpful and accomodating. They even gave me a discount I had seen online but couldn't remember the exact code! Loves it."
"Was quoted DHL ground shipping, received a delivery notification only to find out the stupid thing was delivered to the USPS! At best it will be another 2 days before I get what I ordered... what crap company has courier deliver a package to the USPS??? just bring it to my house you retards! Will never buy from a company that charges that much for shipping, only to add 2 days time for delivery because they saved a buck or two having the USPS deliver it for them in the end! Losers! "

"I purchased a watch, as a gift, for a friend. Since Urban Outfitters appears to be the only person who carries it, I used them. During the purchase, I was notified that it was on back order... no big deal, I can wait. During the period of time when it was on backorder, I lost the CC that I had used for the purchase. When the watch finally came in, I got a notice that they needed new card information (thursday). I called them up the next day and provided that lady with my new card information (friday). A few days went by (tuesday) and I didn't hear anything about shipping, so I called to check on my order. The reason it hadn't shipped was because the lady never processed my card information. I give the next lady my information and am told that it will ship the next day, since it's already in the warehouse for processing. I ask if she can expedite it because now, knowing that the watch is in, my friend is getting really excited. She says she'll try to get it next day air for me. I check the next day (stupid me after closing) and see it's still in the warehouse. I e-mail them asking what's up and they confirm that, not only did it ship, but calling them two days before they planned on shipping was not enough to change the shipping method. I finally (thursday) got a notice that it's shipping... today! Not only is my friend disappointed but she won't be able to get it 'til Monday now because she's out of town. While it's not a huge deal to wait, it's always crappy to have to wait longer because someone on the other end is just screwing around."
