"I purchased an item and then received this message a couple days later:
“I'm sorry for the inconvenience but the item you have requested is sold out at this time. There have been no charges placed to your card. Please check out our website for a option that would work for you. Happy trails.”
It was not a happy experience. I had a trip planned with the item and now I need to find another quickly. It is a basic expectation for inventory systems to sync with sales sites. I don’t plan to purchase here again.
Update 11/11/19: US Outdoor made the situation right and exceeded my expectations doing so. They found the item and fulfilled the order at a discount from what I paid initially. This is an example of great customer service. Thank you."

"I rarely leave reviews, but I was compelled to share the amazing experience I recently had with the US Outdoor Store. After some thorough research and contemplation, I finally decided to purchase a Rovr cooler. The distribution of the cooler is somewhat limited, so I decided to stay local and purchase it through the US Outdoor Store's eCommerce site. A few days later I received a message letting me know I had ordered the last one and it happened to be their floor model; because of this, they would be throwing in a few of the cooler accessories (which are very expensive) and I should expect to see the delivery tomorrow. I figured the floor model would have a number of scuffs and marks, but it didn't matter as I would quickly be making my own marks and appreciated the accessories. The next day I received a PERSONAL delivery of my new cooler and the accessories as promised along with a personalized email from the owner, Ed letting me know my cooler had arrived. Upon opening the box I was surprised to find not a single mark on the cooler. They could have easily sent me the floor model and not mentioned it, I would have never known. Instead, they did they right thing for their customer even though it meant giving away free accessories. In today's fast paced world, I rarely find service of this caliber (especially in the faceless online shopping world). To find a company willing to go to these lengths truly meant a lot. Thank you US Outdoor Store; I will be back and I will be sharing this amazing experience with friends and family!"
"Received my order today and noticed that I have both a newer and older version of the products - not acceptable~~ The older product is 0.08 inch thick and is poorly rated by users. I ordered from you because it stated that you had the newer (0.12 inch thickness) product, which obviously you don't. The difference between the two product was obvious once I opened the box. I contacted them and they apologized and sent a prepaid return label. Although very disappointed on receiving the wrong product they made it right.
