"Horrible!! just after 2 weeks since I placed my order and I am still waiting for it to be "made ready", and now as of today I am sitting on "order delay" which would have been nice to know a week ago when I still had patience rather than wait 2 weeks to apologise but my order is delayed! Very poor performance, particularly when my confirmation email states to allow for 2 - 4 working days for them to get it ready for dispatch. It has been more than double the top end of the scale. I did send an email after 7 working days to find out what was going on and was told my order was still being processed and it works on a first in first out basis (I would hope so), nothing about my order being delayed or even an apology. I am at least hoping it wont be delayed much longer or it may be easier to just cancel and purchase from somewhere else!!! "
"Extreme lack of communication, I placed my order on the 13th of May and order was still pending 17 days later. I called 3 times and was advised that the item was now placed for priority shipping. When i called on the 3rd time I was advised that there was no notes on my account to advise that my item was to be shipped.

On 21 April 2016 I placed an order for an Apple Watch. The Valuebasket website identified 4 units in stock and promised shipping in 5-9 business days. It is now more than 4 weeks and still no indication of when my order will be shipped. I have contacted them and they have promised me that: “…will be dispatched from our warehouse latest on May 19, 2016 ”. It doesn’t happend. Right know I try to contact customer service in order to cancel my order but I don’t have any responses from them. No answer to phone calls, mails or any other message.
I am now worried that I will never receive my goods or money.

"I strongly discourage people form buying any item/service from this company. I have had a horrible experience which has cost me £300, almost 5 months of my time and nearly 60 emails exchanged thus far. From avoiding my questions to losing my phone, the service has been unacceptable to say the least.
I contacted them on the 19th January to repair my phone an LG G3 D855 LTE and sent it off on the 10th February, due to delays issuing a RMA form. I was due to receive my phone in beginning of April, which is already quite a long time for the repairs process.
The company claims misleading information and does not know where the phone is. I have requested a refund but my request has been ignored. There has been no effort on their behalf in making this process easier, in fact they never fully reply to my inquiries.
After posting my complaint on a website I finally received a proposal of resolution. The Company has offered me a partial refund which doesn't cover the amount I paid for and is far from the market value of a phone of equal specs, nor does it compensate for effort and time wasted, in the past 5 months.
After making my position clear that I should be in a situation that I can at the very least replace my phone they offered me a additional refund of £8! This is very upsetting and quite frankly a joke! I am still £100 off what I paid for the phone in the first place.
It is very distressing and inconvenient, I would never recommend this company, in fact I would advice if you want to keep your sanity not to buy any item or service from ValueBasket.

"6 weeks of waiting , many emails and phone calls always getting the same response that they would notify me when dispatched and promising another week ( Its not the promises you make that are important to your clients its the promises you keep that are ) , missing the point that I wanted to know when they were expecting stock , have a email trail a mile long . When I had finally had enough and cancelled they added more salt to the injury by offering me a memory stick to extend my patients ( they are worth a couple of dollars ) . After cancelling finally I waited 9 days to get my refund .Then the proof of how wonderful this company really is . They advised me that they would escalate my "bad experience to managerial level " like I care after I canceled . Shouldn't they have done that somewhere with in the umpteen emails and phone calls I made before I cancelled .
I am a patient man by nature and have been in business all my 51 years . these guys take the cake for the most hopeless non customer focused company I have ever dealt with . Honestly I don't care what thier management thinks after I cancelled . It not rocket science . Now days customer service is expected , its the customer engagement and extra effort that gets return business . Boy oh Boy what a great example of how not to run a business . "Pure and simple robbery. The government should be working to shut these guys down. They have been operating for years, even Google alloy them to be listed at the top of their shopping search. My experience so far: They took my money, didn't send 7 days after they were supposed to, and they are now late refunding my money. I am currently waiting for a reply about where my money is. I'm guessing they try to kep the money and only return it if the bank themselves contact them, whereby making profit from all the people who don't hunt down their money. "Chose to use value basket as they were cheaper however the shipping details are completely false, would have rather pay an additional few dollars and get the product sooner. tried contacting them to receive a voicemail and hang up (no option to record message) and emails were not at all helpful. will not shop here again EVER"
"Ordered my Mac Book Air on 9/5/16, website says 6-9 days delivery, took 4 days to process when finally the order was in the queue for dispatch after 3 days I enquired as to when the item was likely to be dispatched only to be told there is now a backlog but my order would receive priority. It is now 14 days in total and I am still waiting for my item to be posted but they have had my funds since day 1. I would cancel my order and request a refund but that would take another 7 days (maybe).
Should have researched the website prior to placing my order instead of going for the best price."

* Website showing 4 items in stock and a shipping estimate of 2-5 days
* No indication items would be shipped from overseas.
c.3 weeks later:
* No confirmation e-mail received for the original order
* Money had been taken for my order
* Website showed the product had not shipped
* No notification provided of the delay or reason for it
* Website still showing items in stock with a shipping estimate of 2-5 days
* Price of item had fallen nearly £30
After many attempts to get through on the customer services telephone number I managed to speak with someone. They said:
* There were delays at their supplier warehouse (but they could give no details)
* They could not provide an estimate for when the item would be shipped
* They thought it reasonable for the website to still be showing items were in stock with a shipping time of 2-5 days
* They would not reduce the cost of my order to align with the lower price now being advertised
* The item was being shipped from the Far East so I would probably have to pay around £100 tax when it arrived
I cancelled the order and got a refund."
"I am writing this review after a finished experience with ValueBasket.
Summary of Bad points:
1) Item never ships (28 days).
2) Support give generic responses with no promises (Customer Support Care Specialist staff).
3) If you ask for your item to have priority nothing happens (Requested 5 times with same responses of "we expect it to ship soon").
Summary of Good points:
1) Support staff are quick to respond (1-3 working days on average).
2) I was able to get my refund back (3 full working days for me).
Purchased my goods on the 22nd April 2016, After waiting 28 days for my Surface Pro 4 (£1248.99, i7 256GB 16GB RAM), to be shipped which never happened, I sent in multiple tickets to support to try to get it sped up, nothing happened, finally got in touch for a refund on the 23rd May 2016 and after reading reviews thought it would never happen. I luckily got it back on the 25th May 2016. I would rate 0/5 stars for their company performance and unprofessionalism but it is a minimum of 1 star and I am giving at least 1 star for their support staff. Their support team are very helpful."

"Expensive item ordered on 4th May with delivery outlook advised for 13th May. Here it is 19th May & item still has not even been found in their warehouse, so has not even got to the 'picking' stage. Have made 3 enquiries about where-a-bouts of order, & Customer Service have said that company has issues with a lot of orders, & for me to be patient with them."
