Venus steals your money (not being dramatic, they really, literally do) Please read.

"Venus refused to refund me the full amount I'm owed after sending back an item (perfect condition, within the return period, expensive return shipping paid for by myself). I noticed they didn't refund me the full amount for the garment and when I emailed they said there was a "restocking fee" because the item was part of a "promotional sale" since I got free shipping on it. I bought the item full price, and there was no mention when going through the checkout that because I qualified for free shipping on my expensive order, an expensive restocking fee would apply if I tried to return it. Their return policy discloses absolutely nothing about restocking fees. This is extremely shady, no online retailer should ever be ripping you off like this with hidden fees they don't disclose anywhere on their website. They expect you to not check your credit card bill and not notice that they didn't refund you the full amount. Also, just the fact that they tried to convince me that buying a lot and qualifying for free shipping makes it a "promotional sale" is a joke. Every online retailer gives you free shipping over a certain amount, and none of them penalize you if you return something. Nice try Venus. Won't be shopping you again."

I have been ordering from this company for 15 years

"Im not sure why this company is getting bad reviews. They are a US company with beautiful clothes at a great price. They sell clothes directly to you from their base in Jacksonville FL. They do not charge interest? I highly recommend this company and would suggest giving them a try. If you cant afford name brand but want to look great they are for you!!"

Dishonest, Cheap

"I bought a sweater dress and another dress and returned the sweater dress due to poor quality of the item. I returned it, and was only given a refund for $41 (when I paid $54). When I called their customer service hotline, I was informed they charged me for SHIPPING the item back to them for a return. NOWHERE does it say that on their website or return policy. Incredibly dishonest company!!! Also, what kind of company does that?! Not many companies charge you for return shipping. Dishonest, cheap and horrible company."

Shipping to Canadian Customers: Beware!!

"Shipping issues a constant problem with this company. They got a "new" shipping company based from Germany and it's taking forever to get up here. The last Venus customer service rep had the audacity to suggest that it was a payment issue but I have proof that TD Visa processed payment immediately August 8th when I ordered. They (VENUS/SHIPPING) didn't process order and ship until August 12th. Why did my order end up in Nashville??? In this day and age of FedEx/Purolator/UPS... why am I still waiting on my order on August 17th?? Get with the times Venus!

Very Disappointing

"I ordered a top in xs since that was the smallest size it came in with some other items. I kept the other items, but had to send back the top. First of all, they changed me $6.95 to send it back and then another $4.95 because with me sending it back my balance fell below the free shipping??? I've never been penalized for shipping something back that didn't fit. Especially after the sent me numerous emails saying I was a valued customer. REALLY??? I'm very disappointed in their customer service and how they treat customers. Will not be ordering from them again!!!!!"

Horrible servicr

"Ordered a swimsuit 4 days ago. Had not been shipped. Emailed told it would ship in 24 hrs. 2 days later it was not. Reached out again and told my payment was denied. This is not true as I have had purchases since with no problem. It appears this is what they tell everyone because they do not do the items. If it was true why was I not too this upon first request if were order is. I was not told until second request. Will cancel and never use again. "

Bigger sizes for BIG busts

"I've been ordering from Venus for a long time now. They finally got bigger b.s tops for the bigger chested women. The marilyn bra top fits great. Don't like the regular goddess tops theres no support. They do have the color block triangle tops that have no wires and I absolutely love them. Normally wear a 34G but in those tops I can wear a dd. Haven't tried they're one pieces yet so i can't give any advice on those. I used to only buy from Victorias Secret but they quit selling bathing suit tops that fit women plus they're quality has gone downhill. Highly recommend Venus for b.s and clothing! !"

Changing in 2018?

"I've bought the same style of swimsuit for years with Venus and always loved them but this year the Indian Summer Swimsuit sizing is way to small I even re-ordered a larger size 36 and the larger size was just as tight around the top as the 34 was and I typically wear a 34D-so you think a 36DD would fit perfectly! The other suit I ordered fit perfectly (same style just different color). I hope this isn't the start of their sizing going downhill.....that was one of the main reasons I stayed with Venus & kept re-ordering."

Frustrated....

"I've been buying Venus swimsuits for years and haven't had any problems until this year. I purchased a swimsuit and bathing suit cover and didn't like either of them so I returned them only to find out they charged me a $6.95 return label fee and then changed the free shipping and charged me a $4.95 fee for that. I had already made another order before getting the refund minus return label and shipping fee, so I called to inquire why I was not getting credited the full amount. Venus took off the shipping fee as a "courtesy", but refused to change the $6.95 label fee and said for future reference to mail it back via the US Postal Service, that it would probably be cheaper...... REALLY... not very good business!! I hope the other order fits so I don't have to deal with another return, but I won't be ordering anymore swimwear with a return policy like theirs!"

Biased Behavior

"I have been a long time customer of Venus. I like their clothes, but their practice of "choosing" who reviews their purchases seems a bit discriminatory.

I called several months ago after making and receiving a huge purchase. I wanted to review one of the items and was told that they send out e-mails for that about a month after purchase. After several months I called again to say that I never got the e-mail and I was waiting to review my purchases....I was then told that they CHOOSE who reviews their items. The customers cannot review their items at will.

I understand wanting to allow only verified customers the right to review products, but to only allow those shoppers who they deem worthy shows serious bias on their part.

Do I not spend enough money there Venus? You know that stacking the odds of good reviews in your favor makes you look like deceitful liars right?

I do like their clothes (most of them) and many would get a good review, some would not, but all reviews by me would be honest; unlike Venus who practices separating their customers and allowing only a select few the full benefits of being a Venus shopper.
