Five months ago I ordered and paid a pair of shoes via Very Tango online Store. Since I paid the invoice, nobody from the customer service or retail answered to my questions when I can expect the shipment to arrive. So I spent almost 200 USD via Very Tango online store and never received any goods from them. Should I report them as Internet scam? And how? I am willing to do so.

"I wish I read these reviews before ordering from this company. I read the reviews on their webpage and they were all very good. I feel so stupid! The quality of these shoes is simply awful. These shoes are made in China and not in Italy like the best tango shoes are. However, they charge on average $150 or more for each pair of shoes. The shoes are hard, cheap, and not soft and bendable like ballroom shoes should be. This company does not take refunds! They will send you a different size but that´s about it! I wish I did not order from this company. I´m stuck with two pairs of shoes (over $366.00 cost) that I will never use! "
"Awful experience. I have issues with sizing and tried to work with their customer service to get the proper shoes I need. First off, ignore their website sizing as their "shoe artisans" seem to make the shoes however they feel like. Secondly, they only allow one exchange and no refunds (which is completely unreasonable for any woman that's gone through the issues of finding acceptable dance shoes online). So I'm basically out $200 for shoes I can't use. This process started for me in July and ended this week (late November) with the receipt of shoes far too small for my feet that the company refuses to take back. Customer service is not helpful and takes weeks to respond to inquiries. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!"

"I ordered 2 pairs of tango shoes from this company. After receiving items, we tried to contact store for an exchange for a different size for one pair of the shoes. I cannot get them to send me the return address, even after weeks of trying. I had used Paypal for this transaction, and opened a complaint through Paypal, and they too, have been completely useless. Don't use this company. If I get any assistance from Very Tango Store, I will retract this post."

See pictures and full story at http://goo.gl/PqDNID After my review, two things happened: (1) The merchant sent an email titled "revenge" and threatened to expose, publicize and spread my private home addresses all over the internet unless I remove all critical reviews (2) positive reviews started apearing.
This merchant is quite new (US site registered 2011-09-29 via godaddy.com) and lures you in with known brand tango shoes. I ordered two pair of shoes thinking "Hey, this site advertises big tango brands: Greta Flora, 2x4 AlPie, Artesanal ... so the shoes must be good quality". What a joke. The catch is that some of the other shoes, whose origin or brands are not listed, are MADE IN CHINA (brand name: Natural Spin). The merchant is selling these shoes, that looks almost the same as the existing brands, with almost the same price. I tried to discuss the quality issues with the seller but they did not acknowledge that anything was needed for further discussion.
The quality of these made in China shoes are no match for real known brands, no matter how similar they may look in the pictures. The problems were many: leather is wrinkled inside the toe cup, the toe cup's upper lining is horribly cheap looking and exposed to the outside, the bottom's sole rocks the shoe when put on straight table, glue spots are visible etc. And did I mention that they look cheap on the dance floor?
The seller's response for possibility to get a refund is illuminating: men's are lower quality (hence I sell 2x4) the women's are as top quality as any of the brands. I have many customers who have bought other top Argentinean women's tango shoes, and have rejected them to us, and tell us that our brand is superior Yeah right. My two women's tango shoe order was received 2013-10-13 and the id from the merchant was #2254. It took staggering 5.5 weeks from order to shoes to arrive to doorstep.
Happy throwing away your money with the "Natural Spin" women's tango shoes.
