"this company is nothing but a FRAUD..bought a remote control for a panasonic tv and remote is not working.
Called them many times and customer service do not answer.

"First Rate! I ordered three Panasonic N2QAYB000828 remote controls (out of stock everywhere else I tried) on the evening of 04/27/2013, a Saturday. They arrived today (Thursday May second) exactly as described. Genuine Panasonic, well packed, and all working fine.
I'm glad that I didn't run into this site before I ordered. I'm sure that I would still be waiting for a (higher priced) shipment from someplace else to arrive. 'Nuff Said.

"Roll back 30 years and their customer service is no par with the New York camera stores advertising in the back of Photography Magazine. Phone are not answered and no option to leave a message. I did get an order confirmation email but nothing after that, even after it shipped ... nothing. I emailed three times asking for an update ... nothing. The order did arrive 4 days after my CC was billed and all was exactly as expected. The price was fantastic, BH and Adorama were at $254 and Video Direct was $182. I guess worth a little frustration."

"I had been looking for a Panasonic Blu-Ray player remote for several weeks, and finally I broke down and gave up on finding it anytime soon. We have two young boys, and it seems that with them playing around, somehow remotes seems to get "eaten". At any rate, I first called Panasonic to query how much they would charge for a replacement remote. Seemed rather pricey. So I looked online. Some places offered similar remotes, but they were generic without the Panasonic name. Then I came across Video Direct, whose price for the remote was $6 cheaper, and shipping was cheaper as well. But before signing on the dotted line, I checked out reviews of the company and came across the ones on ResellerRatings.com. It seemed that a large number of reviews were really negative. I was concerned that this might be a bad choice. But in the end, I decided to give them a shot and see what happens.
Not only did I receive my remote in less than a week, but it is an exact replacement of what I was missing. So I am very pleased and just wanted to get the word out that, at least in my case, this was a reliable company."
"Ordered a camera bag from their website. Received a confirmation email of the order then, never heard anything from them for over 2 weeks. So I called to inquire what happened to my order. I was told that the order was canceled because the manufacturer stopped making it. The representative insisted that an email was sent to me, but I cannot find any email sent from them whether in inbox or spam box. When I asked if my credit card was charged, I was answered by a question: "why would we charge your credit card?". Overall it was not very pleasant experience shopping with them and it is unlikely I will do again."

"I "purchased" a PT-EP01 Underwater Housing that was said to be In-Stock on the website. I called to ask when it would be shipped and it turns out it wasn't in stock, but that it would be in stock the next week. I called back the next week and then I was told to check back in two weeks. Not needing the housing immediately, and given the much better price I paid vs. what was being offered on the rest of the web, I decided to wait.
After 2 months of waiting and being told to check back in a month, I decided to cancel my purchase, which fortunately was done painlessly via email and my credit card was never charged so no issue there.
I see now that the housing still shows as being In-Stock on the website, although now with a much higher price. I would avoid this store."
"One of my worst deals ever. Ordered it while it says in stock. Two different items. After a week of no contact I asked for a status. They responded quick it is oversold but will maybe arrive the same month. After 3 weeks and their website hat still an in stock status I asked for a delivery date and they canceled the order at all.
While I waited 4 weeks, the items got more pricey at Amazon, where they had it in stock since beginning. Right now I am still without the items and waiting if the price will drop again. Buy at this store if you don't bother when or if your items will arrive at all. Well, right now I am happy they canceled the order. If people are dishonest with stock status, what might happen else?"
"i found an almost im possible to find battery, it was even back ordered with the manufacturer, after i ordered, for 20 dollars cheaper then the manufacture, i became suspicious so decided to read the reviews, to my dismay i saw a lot of reviews saying the item was not in stock when it said it was then the nightmares began, so decided to call. i quickly got routed to a very nice customer service guy named bob that assured me they had in stock and it would ship out tomorrow, a week later i go the battery and called the manufacture and cancelled my order for the back orders item, they even asked why and i said someone else had them in stock and they seemed surprised, all is good, thank you video direct, what else can i buy from you?!"

"I am starting this review based on a gut feeling that my order for a Panasonic VW-ACK180 Camcorder Accessory Kit is going to follow some of the other reviews from people saying that this retailer shows items in stock that aren't. What led me to do this is when I looked at just about every other supplier on the web and even Best Buy said they don't have it. This was echoed by the other web sites including Amazon "Not available yet" When I saw that VideoDirect.com showed it as "in stock" I placed my order on my CC. I also received a comfirmation that said to call to verify stock status. So I did. I spoke to a rather terse gentleman who said their system was down (oh boy, I've hear THIS before) but he said he would go take a look. When he returned to the phone, he said "I think they are there, I can't tell for sure. Call back on Monday". I am a Customer Service trainer and Consultant. I will be calling back on Monday. At the moment, I am pessimistic, but we will see. I will update this review when I know more...stay tuned!
Well, as promised, here's my update. Received my order today via FedEx. All is good. This reseller can be trusted to deliver the goods, but don't count on up to date shipping info such as tracking numbers. Overall, a good experiance."

"I was nervous after seeing all the bad reviews of Video Direct, expecially after reading hilltopper's experience with a bad EUR7627Z60 remote control, but went ahead and ordered anyway 'cause these are quite hard to find. Although it took them a week before they shipped it (which took another week), I finally got my EUR7627Z60 remote control and it looks brand new and works fine. It appears that they billed my credit card at about the same time they shipped. So I'm happy with the purchase."

I chose the one from Video Direct since they were in Florida, and not from New York. Video Direct.com was one of the merchants who was offering what I wanted for $74.95 plus shipping. The bag arrived at my home and is a genuine Canon 1EG camera bag. The shipping went well and I had my merchandise seven days after I placed my order. I did not get a tracking number, and I have ordered many times online from numerous retailers. Not all retailers give tracking numbers, and I was not expecting one due to the great price Video Direct.com offered for what I wanted. I would shop from Video Direct.com again."
