"Bags are nice but the straps were tight"

"I purchased bags for my Vulcan 900 and love them. They are a perfect fit for the bike. Great look, and plenty of room for my stuff. I would give it a 5 star but the free mounting brackets they sent were broken. Although they replaced them the screws were to long. Easily replaced at local hardware store. Would recommend Viking great bags and for the price you can't beat it."

"Viking saddle bags look and are great for the price, however my harley xl883 c is not metric and all the bolt were metric and not long enough to use for mounting. I had to purchase new longer bolts to mount saddle bags to my bike. The bracket for the relocation turn indicators had to be modified. My turn indicators have an extenuation that brings them out more and with that extenuation there is a stub that has to fit in the bracket so they won't turn. I had to file the relocation bracket to make the hole larger. once this was done they fit just fine. You will need to take your time when mounting these bags. They are made to fit more then one bike.

"Happy with the look of the bags and the speed of the delivery. However, they showed up with scratches and dirt caked on the bottoms of them. The quick detatch brackets were a little difficult to mount and deform the bags slightly. Some slanted spacers and slightly longer bolts would have helped. Also bags sit a little higher than i wanted. Might have to modify the bracket to get them where i want."

"The bags I ordered were recommended for my bike and when I received them, they were not a good fit. Too long and I had to return them. Now the ones another person from Viking recommended are on backorder and I'm waiting for a response on when to expect them and it's been a whole day without a response. I may cancel my order and just go find them somewhere else at this point. "

"First off, viking bags. You guys seem to get alot of heat on products but i dont see why! i bought a sissy bar bag through you a few weeks bag and it is everything i needed and then some! IT is huge! has multiple pockets and compartments. though it came with a rain cover, the bag itself holds up nicely.. i ended up riding about 20 minutes through a rain storm that randomly appeared and all of my belongings stayed dry (wasnt able to stop to put the rain cover on). the bag has a hard shell that allows it to keep its space for maximum packing. along with some saddles i have i can litterally live on the road with all this luggage. great stuff. im very happy!"

"I have a 2006 Honda VTX 1300S and was told that these bags were a fit, which they are not. I had to make several modification in order to get an adequate fit. The screws that come with the bags are standard, Hondas are metric. The gap required, from the seat to bag is not even close, with the kit provided. While the bags are very nice, be prepared to make major modifications and purchase extra parts."
