"Harley Davidson isn't known for being cheap. I love my Dyna by all means, but between the HD dealership stealing all of my money with their outrageous labor cost to the actual accessories and parts department quoting me crazy prices for things. I need to save a buck here and there. Riding motorcycles is by no means a poor man's sport and Harleys only make it more expensive. I searched high and low for the proper saddlebags that would fit my bike. Many of the options on ebay are a little bit too cheap and generic for my taste. Some of the other bags from HD and other higher end places cost almost a thousand dollars. Viking Bags comes in right in between and offers a great selection of locking bags. Locking is a feature that normally is only on nicer bags. It's a convenience factor where you don't need to worry about rushing out of the store to come back to ripped off bags. For 300 you can get the top of the line shock cut out lam 800 bags with a beautiful finish. I really enjoy these bags. I read a bunch of horror stories all over the internet and I'll say that, those reviews must have been for the old company. THey've definitely improved since the last negative review i read about them. now the dyna is tricky, you need to get a license plate relocation kit and viking bags does offer that for free. it's not the best quality, but it does the trick and if you want to get a higher end one, you can order a different kit from easy bracket. The mounting hardware is solid, but the instructions are a little bit vague. Not an issue, as i am handy with my hands. I would highly recommend viking bags to anyone who isn't a brand snob and interested in upgraindg their bags. I've had these bags 7 months and no problem. "

"The bags are definately a good quality bag. The look and qualtiy are very top notch. I would say they need to workon the brackets a little bit I have to forgo using the cross bar for the bottom to make it fit. Still works fine though. I actually called in about this and they said they are making bracket for my Dyna to fix this issue and they will send it to me when it comes in. So i thought was pretty cool."

"Simply the best motorcycle saddlebag company out there. They take pride in their product and offer some of the best deals available. Their mounting hardware isn't half as horrible as everyone makes it out to be. I don't know what kinda parts they're getting for their bikes if they're complaining. The hardware kit is solid... doesn't feel liek cheap aluminum from china like some other stuff. If you guys wanna feel cheap junk, goto the motorcycle store and ask to see their cheap trunks.
