"The bags themselves are very nice and glad to have 1 key for both bags now. The mounting hardware however was all too short for my 05 sportster with rigid sideplates. Nothing a trip to the hardware store couldn't fix. "

"The bags were delivered in a box that had holes in it, the key for one of the locking saddlebags was broken off in the lock, and someone had opened the hardware box and removed one of the bolts. Initially I wanted an exchange, but due to the poor customer service from the first rep and the amount of time it's taken, I've chosen to be refunded instead. It's 3 days later and I still haven't gotten my return label. I've been told I should have it today by the 2nd rep I spoke with. Spent a little more money and got bags and luggage for 2 bikes elsewhere. Also found out I have to pay for shipping to return merchandise that was not usable by me to begin with, in spite of their promise that the merchandise would arrive as described online. "

"Bolts that came in the package are good only if a bike doesn't have a passenger back rest. With the back rest they are too short. I had to buy my own bolts.
Othetwise, the bags seem to be of good quality. "

"The bags I ordered came in within a decent time frame and they are really nice. The instructions were somewhat limited and when I tried to call for some clarification, my call would not connect.

I installed the bags but I still think I need to clarify a few points on if I did the install correctly or not.

Overall - I will come back to Viking Bags for any future purchases.
