"We booked just before the pandemic hit, and then we couldn’t go on the dates we’d booked because of lockdown. The terms for the booking meant that we’d loose our money, because we had to cancel just 7 days before the arrival - so we called them.
They were super helpful and deferred our dates of stay for up to 12 months. When that ran out and we still couldn’t travel due to the international flights - they allowed us to defer again. No problems.
We finally got to stay last week and the home that we originally booked was exactly as advertised and looked just like the photos. They responded within a couple of hours to a problem with the dishwasher at the house and were really easy to deal with.

" I wrote a review at the beginning of this month because my family will be vacationing in Florida this August 2015. I am on a layaway plan and had some questions. I had e-mailed and called with no results, wrote about my frustrations and worried about my actual vacation. I called and left a message with Villa direct the same night I wrote the review. Villa direct did call me back answered my questions and helped me upgrade my Medieval times tickets. Lisa has been particularly helpful and I am now able to contact them and get the help needed. Stephanie has given me great tips to save money particularly with regard to saving some money on Sea World tickets. I appreciate their response time now and I am excited again about taking my family especially my grandchildren to Disney in August.
Because the event has not occurred yet, when we return from Disney at the end of August 2015 I will write an update when we return from the vacation.

Their on-line booking process worked first time, I found all the information that I could want on their site - and the home was everything the advertised. THeir reservationist answered every question that I asked. Did you actually stay with them?"
"VillaDirect has very poor customer service in my opinion. I spent nearly $1000 dollars on a reservation but could not get any email replies on questions. I sent an email, 5 days later no reply. Sent another, 4 more days still no reply. Then I sent a nasty email and they replied to that the next day. This tells me the read and ignore the majority of the mail they receive. I had 3 seperate questions for them. 2 they didn't even attempt to answer, and the third they said they wouldn't answer. I will not use VillaDirect again."
