"You know I really don't want to tell anyone about this hotel because then this treasure of a hotel will be known by more people and I won't be able to get a reservation!

Once out of the way on the island of Lido it now has a very regular bus service that runs straight from the water-bus terminal to a few metres before the hotel. The hotel itself has kept its charm and style from the late 1930's or so - lots of photo opportunities, but does NOT lack in any necessary facilities. Rooms are great - quite spacious, air conditioned, en-suite, wifi, etc.. Breakfasts are buffet style. Staff are always helpful and pleasant - you always feel like you have stayed there a hundred times and you are their number one customer.

Rates are very reasonable and the earlier you book the cheaper it is!

Have stayed there several times and intend to stay there again...and again! "

"We first stayed at Villa mabapa 10years ago for our honeymoon, and promised ourselves to return on our10th wedding anniversary which we did in September. Our stay was amazing and nothing was too much trouble and the attention to detail was second to none. Buffet breakfast was delicious!!!!!. Can't wait to return again...
