"This was my second online order with Vio Software. My first order experience with them was very positive, but this one was even better.

For this order, I used their online shipping comments section to request USPS shipping because I was to be away on vacation, and I wanted the delivery to be held for me at the post office until I returned. FedEx is the normal carrier for free-shipping items at Vio Software. I received a call from Nick at Vio Software, whose message said that their warehouse could not ship my item by mail, but offered instead to hold the order for shipment by FedEx until immediately before I expected to return. I returned Nick's call, and accepted his offer. When I got back, my package was waiting for me at the post office, for they had shipped it by priority mail after all! Now that is excellent customer service!

Initially, their total price with free shipping may have been a little higher than the lowest prices of other vendors I considered, but I was buying operating system software, and from my previous order, I knew I could count on Vio Software for genuine Microsoft material. After receipt of my order, I noticed that they had lowered their web price to a more competitive level. I called Nick to thank him for his helpful service on the shipping, and to mention the price reduction, and he quickly offered to credit the difference back to my credit card (about $15). I have done business with a significant number of Internet companies, but I have never had better customer service from any of them! I highly recommend Vio Software for all of your software needs.
