The advertisements about short telephone hold times is true, and the techs are actually in America in the store. That service led to my decision to buy the first one 6 years ago. "The keyboard is broke, customer service is not available late nights or Sunday, and why did you load the computer with so much junk software? Also, not fully functional yet.
First, I did not know that this was a published review or I would have toned down my response. Second, after working with the computer I like it fine. The keyboard takes a little getting used to, and it make too much noise, but it is standard. A higher quality keyboard solves this problem. Also, I did have the English version set wrong.
Third, customer service may be open on Sunday, but I looked and didn't find their number. Fourth, They put software on the computer that I did not order--it is junk to me, but they cop out and say that MS requires it.
Fifth, getting a unsolicited call from an angry person with a non-US accent when you are completely unaware of any problem you might have caused is unsettling and tends to make one uncooperative. So far, I would buy this computer again in spite of the guy who called me."
