"In the end, I got the book I needed and the permanent purchase I needed. But getting there was confusing. The interaction between Pearson Publishing and VitalSource was not clear. I don't even remember how I ended up with the text book being on VitalSource. I know that I needed to go to Pearson to find the book. There was not a clear indication in the beginning that I was renting a book rather buying one. So I had to go back and get the rental cancelled and then buy the book. There was not a way to apply the rental fee to the purchase. I couldn't find the book through Amazon nor Barnes & Noble nor through VitalSource. I had to go directly to the publisher then somehow I purchased the book through VitalSource. In spite of my complaining, I did get the book and am happy with your reader!
