"I ordered a Wistler 400Watt Inverter and had it shipped site to store. The expected delivery time was 7-10 days. After 14 days I received an e-mail stating that there was some "unknown" problem, and that I would be notified shortly with the status of my order. More than two weeks later I received an e-mail stating that my payment had been refunded, no explanation, no instructions for receiving the item. I e-mailed them, and received only an automated message in response, stating that the item was damaged and needed to be ordered again.
Finally after e-mailing them a second time I received a human response stating that I could order again, and they would pay for shipping to my home. I had to wait for the order to process and ship again, but thankfully they did reimburse me. In the end, I was still dissatisfied with the process, but grateful they had at least done something to fix it.
I was extremely dissatisfied with this process. There is no way it should have taken 18 days to discover my item was damaged. I also should have been informed as to what the status of my order was after the item was refunded. To top it all off, Walmart refuses to even deliver the item as per the original order."

"Ordered a portable A/C-Heater combo (about $450) from Wal-Mart.com on 6/18/07 and selected "Site-To-Store" to save $$$$ on S&H. It took two weeks to arrive, not bad...but still believe that's a little too long to wait when the temp. has been over 90 degrees F recently. Anyway, that's one thing I wasn't too happy about because I could've bought this from another online store and have it shipped to my house sooner (in about half that time).
My other complaint is that I got an email on 7/2/07, two weeks later, stating it's ready for pick up at the store. When I arrive that same day, I'm told that it's not there yet and is probably still on the truck that hasn't arrived yet. I asked the "knowledgeable" employee why would I get an email stating it's "ready for pick up" on an item that wasn't even there, but of course she had no clue. I didn't complain to a manager (which I should have), but I did send an email about this experience to ****@****. Who knows if they'll ever respond and apologize. *shrugs*
The next day, my wife went down there (since she had a day off) and it finally arrived. My only good thing to say about this experience was the employee was kind enough to load it in the car for her. It's heavy, over 60 lbs. and I unloaded it when I got home from work. Now, let's hope that this freakin' portable a/c-heater combo works because it's gonna be 90 degrees F again today. If it doesn't work or was damaged during shipment, you better believe I'm gonna return it and edit my review/complaint here."
"I placed an order for a Garmin nüvi™ 350 GPS Receiver on June 18th for $369.54. I received an e-mail right way with my order information. Notice that a hold on funds was placed for $500.00 against my card. Web site stated 7-10 day you will receive an e-mail when the item arrives at the store.
Today, I arrived at the store to find out why I have not received an e-mail. The store could not answer my questions and told me to call the 800 number on the website. Using the automated order tracker I was informed that the item was to arrive at the store on 7/11 then I was disconnected. Had to call back to get a live person who told me the item did not ship until 6/26 and that it appeared that my unit had been on back order (while all the time it was featured on the main web page). Check tonight, I find that Wal-Mart has charged my account for the item I have yet to receive.
I asked that my card be refunded as I wish to cancel this order. I was told that as it had already shipped to there store, I would have to wait until it arrive at the store, take my e-mail telling me that it had arrived and ask for a refund from the store.

"Ordered a digital camera from Walmart.com on June 12. Was called on the 15th to confirm my order. Also received an email from Walmart.com stating I would receive two more emails confirming shipment of the camera and arrival at the store, as I opted for the "site to store" delivery option. As of June 26 I had not received any notification, so I called Walmart.com trying to find out why. CSR said camera was shipped out on June 19. Asked for refund, was told it was not possible. I then went to the local Walmart where the camera was to be sent, and no camera had arrived after seven days of supposed shipping. Decided all I could do was wait until Thursday June 28, the last day of my "delivery window." Went to the local Walmart again, and no camera. Had manager of said Walmart call Walmart.com. Still nothing could be done, for the camera was still in transit, although new CSR confirmed that the camera had not been shipped until THAT DAY, June 28. So, I don't have a camera after more than two weeks and I can't get a refund until the camera arrives. Needless to say, I will never order from Walmart.com again, and will probably never shop at a local store either."
"The ordering process was painless. Had called prior to placing the online order to get a couple of preorder questions answered. Customer Service person was knowledgeable, and courteous. Order went through without a hitch. Order tracking process was straight forward. Packing was OK. They could have used a box half the size of the one used. Item arrived as promised and in good shape. Will consider using them in the future as need dictates. Will be watching the “site to store” service as it becomes available in my area. "

"3/24: Package was not delivered within "guaranteed" time frame. I am still awaiting this book for a class & am falling behind in the meantime. Emailed customer service on Thursday (3/22); still no response. Wal-Mart’s shipping method is confusing: UPS transfers package to USPS; once in USPS' system, there is no specific tracking info available--not even an updated ETA. Customer Service unresponsive.

Update 3/27: I have still not received my package (from an order that was placed on 3/14). I have since received two emails from Customer Service, but they have failed to offer quick resolution to the issue. They asked that I wait until 2/27 (today) to contact them again (13-days AFTER placing my order), and if the package has still not been delivered, they would then assist. Now that I’ve waited the specified time, I’ll send an email out this morning and will post an update once I receive resolution.
At this point, I am a Dissatisfied Customer. This package was guaranteed to be delivered one week ago & I am falling very behind in my online class. Most e-tailers would have sent out a replacement via expedited shipping by now, as the item is only $17. It is no wonder their ResellerRatings score is so low. I guess because they are “Wal-Mart,” they feel that a few neglected customers won’t hurt their business.
Wal-Mart Customer Service has so far been useless & has only dished out canned responses to my inquiries.

"I ordered a blu-ray with overnight shipping because it was a late gift, and the item was recieved 2 days later. This was not a problem because it came in time, but I was told it was due to processing time. You would think that if an item is ordered for overnight shipping they would expedite the processing of it. Also I ordered the item at around 8:00am to try and get it the next day. Oh well decent service and I would do business with again if needed because of stock but not otherwise."
"I ordered a bluetooth headset from Walmart.com on Feb. 2nd. It is now Feb 12th. and no headset. I used their standard shipping option which is called "UPS Mail Innovations". I called Walmart.com's customer service and waited on hold for 15 minutes just to be told that the CSR could not tell me the status of my order because it was shipped by the US Postal service. I was offered the choice of either A Credit on my credit card or to have the Item re-shipped via UPS again. I took the credit and told the CSR that I would not order from Walmart online again. She just said OK and thanked me for shopping at Walmart. No apology, or anything. I would suggest that people NOT order from Walmart.com "

"My daughter used my credit card to pay for a ring that had each of the kids birthstones in it for christmas. I was told if we ordered it buy 12-05-06 it would get here by 12-22-06 so i figured we would order it almost 2 weeks early just to make sure. Just today the week we are supposed to get it, i get a email from wal mart saying it wont be here and that also it cant be cancelled. Then they go on to say because of the nature of the problem they cannot promise me a ship date at all. So i call the help number and they told me it cant be cancelled even before shipping and that they are looking at mid to late january. I am sure my daughter will be very pleased with this."

"I ordered two jackets from Walmart. The price was reasonable including tax and shipping. It was expected to arrive between 11/9 and the 11/16 but BOTH arrived on 11/7!! Incredibly fast service and the packages (while not cleanest from the outside visually but I think that's the product of UPS treatment) were undamaged inside. Will keep Walmart in my checklist of sites to use. "
