"Wal-mart is new to the on line business. It is going to take a little bit to get things working smooth. You think Amazon was as good as they are now when they first started. NO WAY!!!!!! They shipped me the wrong book 3 times and would not refund my money for the book I ordered. i have had problems with Wal-mart but they always make it right. I agree I will never order from 3rd party, but I will not order 3rd party from anywhere!!!! I just make sure I only buy from Wal-mart. This goes for almost everything, but when you first start something there is a learning curve well lets give Wal-mart that time to get it right. They are the largest retailer in the world which proves they do get it right!!!! When I look on Amazon and I find the same item for 10.00 cheaper at Walmart I get it from there. If I need the product today I go to the store. Be smart they are. "
"Purchased an appliance at walmart.com. When we received it, it was broken. We called Walmart for a replacement. They sent the replacement and instructed to send back the broken item.
Since they did not accept walmart.com returns at their physical stores, as instructed we printed the return shipping label and placed it to Walmart's career of choice well before the deadline (at least 10 days earlier). Thankfully we kept a tracking number. Walmart allegedly never received the item back from their carrier, and unbeknown to us, they charged our credit card again for the entire amount of the broken item. Ironically, customer care stated the item - which allegedly they state never received back - was broken. It has been almost ten days that we are trying to get our money back but are not receiving it. Not sure which authority to report this scam. We have records of all the steps in the transaction."
"Other than the valid reviews commenting on Walmart's very annoying "Marketplace" offerings, Walmart is just generally a mess.
I've heard some loud moaning coming from the vicinity of Sam Walton's grave. Once AGAIN, ordered two products from Walmart (we will NOT use their ridiculous, unaccountable "Marketplace" advertisers) both products indicated as in inventory, 6 days ago. One product shipped and delivered fairly quickly. The other product was caught in the eternal state of "processing" followed with emails stating "We're sorry for the delay," only to be told the last, unshipped product from our order is no longer available.
This isn't the first time this has happened. With one order, out of 3 other similar incidents, the ordered was "delayed" for 13 days, only to have Walmart send a message that the product was no longer available. One issue like this we can understand and accept but, as of this most current order, 4 identical delivery issues?
First, every other vendor we deal with ONLY ships products which are available ... accept Walmart. Second, not only does Walmart have a poor, extremely pitiful inventory tracking system, but it takes that company numerous days to figure out that the product was never available in the first place!
In all honesty, all the "undelivered", unavailable product orders were under $100, however, that is not the issue. It's actually worse that the unavailable products are inexpensive items since we have to make a note with regular alerts ("alarm sound") on our calendar to remind us to follow-up on low cost orders.
So, with all the valid complaints, including many similar to ours here, I now have to make a note to remind myself to read this, and the other similar reviews, NOT to order from one of the most disorganized, poorly managed retailers, Walmart. These people evidently just don't get it, most likely thinking that all the bad ratings and comments are invalid, misunderstanding on behalf of consumers, not Walmart's fault, that Walmart C-Level CAN'T be wrong so therefore, again, it must be uneducated, uninformed consumers.
Conversely, apparently I'm just a slow learner when it comes to cosumerism. Regardless, that moaning coming from the vicinity of Sam Walton's grave is Sam posthumously wailing in agony over what inept management has done to his beloved, once exceptional customer centric business."
"6 DAYS!!!! 4 DAYS LATE!!!"
"Hate Walmart.com beware, if you purchase items from Walmart.com (which are not all Walmart items) they also have "Marketplace" shopping you can purchase from which have separate shipping charges YES SEPARATE. I after ordering had to call Walmart and the Marketplace store individually to get my order cancelled to avoid shipping charges. Nightmare!!! Just BEWARE!"
"I purchased a quilt from Walmart on line. Deciding it wasn't what I wanted, I returned it to a Walmart store, only to learn they wouldn't accept the return because it wasn't their product. Even though it was from their on line service, because the item was from another company, I had to call that company and pay $7.95 for shipping. You need to tell us when we can't take an item back to your store for a refund. I will stick with Amazon!"
"This was the worst online shopping experience of my life. 3 days after due date I get the wrong product and only 1 of 2 chairs I ordered. return it. 2 days later another chair of the wrong color. return it. 7 days later 2 chairs of the wrong color. by this time I had been without a place to sit for 2 weeks so I kept the wrong colored chairs. walmarts response> we are sorry we know how you feel heres a 20 dollar gift card. that for lugging 80 pound chairs in and out of my house repeatedly for their mistakes. I will NEVER use Walmart.com for anything again "
"I placed a swingset online order they said be in March 10 after 6pm. Now I call them they said there's a delay won't be in til March 16, why on earth send me am email confirmation
Ima just start using Amazon "
"Ordered wood faux mini-blinds for my new house that took 2 weeks to arrive AND they were NOT the size I ordered. Had to do all the return crap thru numerous emails which took a lot of time, not to mention prepping the packages and printing labels for return...all on my dime!
Re-ordered the blinds again, which will take another two weeks!!! In the meantime, I have aluminum foil over the windows.
WALMART failed miserably!
I will be ordering from Amazon in the future."
"I ordered a fishing pole online on Friday morning, because I was in a rush and just needed to run in to grab it. I got the confirmation email that it would be with customer service and they would email me once it was ready. Then got an email on Sunday morning saying there has been a delay and it won't be ready to pick up until Tuesday! This Is so ridiculous, I now just ordered in from Amazon and it will be here by 8:00 am Monday."
"I'm a regular prime shopper and I have been seeing more out there about walmart trying to take on Amazon. I needed a new cooler and I thought I would give them a trial run for a small item. Order took awhile to process and shipping time was ok. What wasn't ok was that I received the wrong item. Instead of a 70 qt cooler I got a 19 qt. Not a huge deal, I thought this happens with amazon occasionally so I will just request an exchange.
Amazon will ship a replacement and since it was there mistake send the replacement immediately. The walmart rep said the only way to get a replacement without paying twice is to return the other item in store. I found online that I could request a label so I did and the return instructions explicitly say don't return the item in store. I would have been pretty **** if I drove to the store and stood in line and found out it cant be returned.
This is not a massive deal but more of an annoyance for me, I like the way Amazon has handled their issues with great service. If you are used to amazon service walmart.com doesn't come close.

"Worst customer service I have ever had to deal with. I ordered tires, one was delivered and two weeks later the other three are "stuck in processing" and to make up for all of my time calling them and the hassle of not having a vehicle for two weeks they have me $25.00 gift card. Screw you Wal-Mart.com I will never in my life order another item."
"I bought a Polaroid TV on walmart.com. I received it on December 15th. Forty-five days later we noticed that the top of the screen appeared darker than the bottom of the screen after 2 weeks we it was getting worse and we decided to return it to our local Walmart store. They refused to take it stating it was sold to us by a 3rd party. I spent the next 3 days (7and a half hours) on the phone between walmart.com, OJ Commerce and Polaroid where I was passed from 1 phone number (10 total) to the next; all saying they couldn’t help us. Walmart.com only gives you 15 days to return a TV. OJ Commerce gives you a big 30 days to return their product and Polaroid said they could replace it or fix it. Now why would a person want to replace a TV that is a piece of crap? My husband and I decided that we should deal solely with walmart. Com because they were the one we paid so they should refund our money and then they can go through all the channels to recoup their money. Why should a customer have to spend their time to do what Walmart could do? I had had it and so my husband took over…safe game with him….talking to managers etc being told there was nothing they could do. We purchased a different TV from a place other than Walmart and still have a defective TV in the box because no one will step up to the plate and refund our money.

"Stay away from Walmart.com
I pre-ordered the Nintendo Switch the minute it came online. That was January 13th. I was told by Walmart.com that I would receive it on opening day, March 3rd. Yet, it's not here.
Fine. Sometimes stuff can be a little late. Could be Fedex's fault, right?
So I called Fedex with the tracking number, and it turns out THEY NEVER EVEN RECEIVED THE BOX FROM WALMART. UNBELIEVABLE.
Walmart promises they'll have the new hot product at your door on opening day, but THEY DIDN'T EVEN GIVE FEDEX THE F'ING BOX YET. Absolutely unreal.
On top of this, the information on Fedex says it's for weekday delivery, not weekend delivery. So now I have to wait until Monday. Only one problem with that-- I'M LEAVING THE COUNTRY ON MONDAY NIGHT.
How can you be the largest corporation in America, promise to have something at my door over two months ahead of time, but not even ship the box out on that day, and then not even set the delivery for weekends, so I won't even receive it until the following week when I may be gone?
I called and complained. They're sending me a $20 gift card. That's nice. Maybe if you'd do your job right, you wouldn't have to send $20 gift cards to try to make people happy for your crappy service?
It's ridiculous. Stay away from Walmart.com."
"Ordered 2 nursing sleep SETS for my daughter but only received the top half on both sets. This was on January 27th. I immediately contacted Customer Service and was told the items would be shipped. I didn't receive the items. Called Walmart in February and was told that the items would be shipped immediately and they apologize. I didn't receive the items. Emailed numerous times and received nothing but an automated bounce back that they had received the email and would direct it appropriately. I received no emails from an actual person. I posted a review on Walmart.ca concerning their abhorrent customer service and received an email stating that my review was declined because I had mentioned customer service. Sent a flurry of furious emails and received nothing in return other than an email telling me to contact the manufacturer of the sleep sets. Who is the manufacturer, you ask? WALMART. I just now spoke to a young man-a full 35 days after this fiasco began-and was told the warehouse doesn't have the missing items but they'll give me a $10 credit to shop online if I return the tops that I was originally sent. Needless to say, I will NEVER, EVER order from Walmart online again. This was the first time I have done so and it will definitely be the last. MOST DEPOLRABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER."
